-

-
lol was this supposed to be a PM that ended up as a topic or am I just missing something? oh makes more sense now you edited
-
lol I bloody hope they do because I've already ordered some They should be here tommorow or wednesday so I can let you know if they fit if you want to wait a couple of days?
-
Yeah those are the cheapest ones I've found so far, I think I'll probably go for them. And yes I should think they would fit the NA.
-
Looks like I'm gonna be buying the NGK ones then and doing a bit of blue/white colour coding in the engine bay since the leads are blue
-
I've tried ebay, google, everywhere, loads of websites, and can't find HT leads cheaper than £39 delivered. (NGK ones). I'm not fussed about Magnecore or any expensive makes, aslong as they do the job of replacing the old ones. Has anyone bought any for cheaper? I assume the OEM ones will be just as expensive.
-
haha unfortunately I don't have a gf
-
well they say people with big flashy cars are making up for something UKSC must be the best "equipped" car club
-
Running rich?

Depends how long it was since the last service and other things too. I'm pretty sure my car hasn't been serviced for a long time (was owned by an old man who had full service history on it then after he passed it down to his daughter I don't think she had even bothered to lift the bonnet at all). Soon I'm going to be doing: Air filter Spark Plugs HT leads Rotor Arm Distributor Cap Fuel Filter Oil filter + oil change brake pads+shoes and as tahiti already said, the belts aswell (my fanbelt squeeks sometimes )
-
Checked them and they're 382, I've bought some for £6. Hate lifting the bonnet in the street, there's a garage literally two doors away from my house and it looks like you're some dodgy half-assed mechanic who works there or something
-
Thanks shelly I'll go and check it in a while, can't be arsed doing it while all the kids are coming out of school.
-
That's cheaper than halfrauds then. Does anyone know which fitment they need to be?
-
how much were they mate?
-
Oh and I've heard if they're not bright enough they're illegal?
-
Toyota reliability = bulletproof You're making a good choice getting rid of the shedaxo and yeah quinn direct seem to know what they're on about, alot of insurance companies don't have a clue but quinn are quite good and not too expensive either
-
this is just a mad guess but are there any screwholes under the carpet?
-
yeah the website says they're a tenner for silvertec ones there's loads on ebay for like £8 or £6 but I'm not sure if they're shitty cheap things

BBS Alloys On An N/A (pictures inside, 56k beware)
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Alignment & Alloys
Nevermind they're both gone now The first set went for over £250 ;) Can't remember what the others went for but they needed a refurb and new tyres anyway. Doesn't matter anyway as I think I've found some different alloys with tyres for cheaper and suit the Starlet more than those BBS would. -
I've got my clear indicators now (thanks Phil) and just went to "trial fit them" (wasn't gonna leave them on yet), and there's me thinking I had orange bulbs it turns out they're normal white bulbs. So I had a look around ebay/halfords/google for silvertec bulbs and it's coming up with all different things like 581 and 382... Does anyone know which ones it needs?
