  2. Yes mate it's definately worth changing the manifold, you will get better performance. Also you have probably read about it already, there is a restriction on runner #3 which is no good for the 3rd cylinder. The design of the manifold is important and also the material, it's no good getting a cheapy stainless steel one off ebay they will just crack but at the same time some manifolds can be quite expensive. I think the SPS ones are good value and I've seen loads of positive comments about them on here and TGTT.
  3. Nice! Definately gotta stay that colour seeing as it's rare and all that. I think a quadlamp conversion would look good though. ;) I'm not sure on the wheels either but with your habits I'm sure they'll change soon enough.

    Why does everyone shit a brick at 3 digit speed figures? The difference between 95 and 105 is minimal. Yet people make a huge fuss about 100 mph. Speed isn't dangerous at all. People who can't handle speed are dangerous.
  5. K&N/Apexi/Green/Power Enterprise It's all the same at the end of the day, I'd go for a cotton filter over foam or anything else though. On another note don't mesh your turbo.

    Speed limits are too strict IMO. It should be more a case of the situation (time/day/other road users/etc...) rather than strict limits.
  8. I didn't mean nothing by it so I hope you hadn't took it the wrong way. I just like the standard 98 spec bumpers (with the lip of course) too much that's all.

  10. SR's are overhyped they're nothing more than a normal Starlet except the alloys and -25mm lower springs.
  11. Sportif's are also pretty much the lowest model. It's worth mentioning some Starlets come with power steering, some don't.

  15. It's easy, you can use a simple electronic thing "speed cut defender" or something like that it's called, or you can use a speedo converter which changes it from KMH to MPH which changes the limit from 180KPH to 180MPH (good luck getting to that).

When are you ordering them? We should get a little meet going there's 4 of us I know have got Starlets round here and there's plenty of car parks in Stourport.
  18. Cheers for the ride the other week mate was good fun and the coilovers were surprisingly smooth compared to what alot of people say about them being a harsh ride. What manifold and decat are you gonna go for? The SPS ones like you mentioned look good to me. Got to have another go in it once it's got the mani and decat on. sound

This is probably my favourite GT as far as looks are concerned, if I had a silver GT I'd get the same wheels it just suits it so well. Have you got any more pics? Would like to see it from some different angles. haha what the fuck posted at the same time
