Even though it selects gears when engine is off ?

Was driving down the A1 today and slowed changed down to 3rd and it would go in? wouldn't go in any gear? i managed to get it in one and then it worked fine until i got to work. Went to go home and won't engage in gear when engines on. Will engage when off and the car lunges forward but will start in gear and drive in 1st but won't let me change out to second and with clutch depressed car creeps forward. Is it the box or release bearing, Master/slave/braided lines all replace 3 months ago along with new clutch fork when i put in the competion stage 3 clutch in. Any ideas Gearbox or release bearing (it was noisy when not engaged) clutch still feels as it did when working fine just seems its not clearing or syncros are fucked

Things you need: Shift fork- 33214-10022 Hub Sleeve - 33395- 12011 5th gear - 33036-12011 Needle bearing - 90364-24006 Synchro ring - 33369-12030 Spacer - 90560-25006 Snap ring - Check yours and order the number stamped on it as theres a few to choose from Im doing this on mine so hope this helps

Standard gear box in working condition! No crunches or popping out of gear, must be in good condition as this is the third box I'm on And don't want to be changing it again!!

bled the clutch ??

Sounds like a vacuum leak, check the vac line to the throttle body turbo actuator and stock map sensor

Did you check the fork clutch for damage? mine had a big crack in it and wouldn't allow me to select gears / engage the clutch
