  1. you wouldnt normally loose boost. you might have a vac leak or blown a pipe. Is it defo bottom end knock and not release bearing or injector clicking? Get a vid up
  2. sounds like air in the system start from the rear left, rear right, front left and front right
  3. you can adjust the idle screw on the inlet, might need to clean the icv
  4. standard engine? poor maintenance in earlier life could = excess wear? Gutted for you matt Get it fixed pal
  5. lights are normally 5amp? check fuses under the dash
  6. tbh the mot man is a bit anal if hes picked you up on idle speed but if it has failed emission that's what it could mean by idle speed
  7. Id send it of for a rebuild mate as second hand turbos are a nightmare. Half of people selling them dont know how to tell a working turbo from their dogs breakfast

  9. Adam is right its not just a case of one size fits all. they would have to be adjustable to be universal
  10. Yeah it would have to be cnc machined, but you could use washer to get the desired gap then get the measurement to a engineering firm who could make you some.
  11. hmm had a thought. could you remove the studs from the ball joint put a spacer between the arm and ball joint? Secure with nut + bolt and longer threaded bolt for the third? Just not sure if it would put too much directional stress on it.
  12. interesting idea, custom ball joints or spacer/ adaptor to lower the lower arm position. would you also need to look at track rod ends??

  14. New hoses have arrived for test fitting Will post pictures once they are fitted
