Might sound daft but have you adjusted the clutch pedal in the footwell? If not did you install the clutch plate the correct way round . sorry if im teaching you to suck eggs

i think they can correct me if im wrong but the 4efe and 4efte gearboxes are interchangeable so id think they would use the same fly wheels
