Few Alternative Engine Suggestions Please
Glanza_cl replied to Steve GT's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
x2 forged with a nice garrett Gt30 or something -
first attempt ever?? as thats quite good if it was his first try at it... i know mr2 aren't particularly known for there drifting abilities but i can keep my back end out for shit good stuff none the less and the car sounds mint!
-
done it ages ago and it's been done quite alot, here's my old V with white Grids on: i think it looked sweet but the white wheels were an absolute pain to clean all the time!
-
any turbo specialist can do it mate, it's not a DIY thing you can do yourself. In essence dont hold onto the word hybrid think more of it being a 'Hi flow turbo'... normol process would be get a bigger comp wheel port the housing to accommodate the larger wheel, then port the wastgate out and fit a bigger wastgate flap (again to accommodate for the enlarged wastgate) thats about it. all 'Hybrids' will vary with spec but that is a basic hybrid ct9

Rick's Nissan S15 Silvia Spec R Aero
Glanza_cl replied to StarletRick's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
are the rays stagered fitment?? if not whats the silvia's like to drive with the same width wheels? as mr2's are shite unless you get a staggered fitment and get the back nice and wide. none the less amazing wheels! and i only wish i could get my hands on some nice bronze GramLights -
proper neat game! solo missions are sweet, half way through that beast... multiplayer is just insane, it's just spawn and die fest! but once you get used to that and adapt it's all good. for the last couple of months i've just been on COD World At War so was quite different jumping from that multiplayer to MW2's... but already got up to level 17 in multiplayer mode in a couple of hours and the customizable functions are epic! choose your gun and about a million Aps for it, choose camo for it, then choose your perks, secondary weapon, you can customize your death streak options... Ah tha list

I had one and it was pretty shite, the only real reason the bigger cars i.e. skylines, evo's etc run them is there such a small filter and there is never that much room with huge turbo's and intercoolers under the bay. on a glanza/ep82 get an apexi/sard filter as ther readily avalible and are the shizzle on a N/A K&N and more readily avavible so go with that.

hmm perhaps i miss herd the quotations then, i kinda thought to myself that 30k seemed alot lol. but still it's not the most cost effective route by any means
-
thats a ridiculously cheap price... i spoke to Jules and Luke about it quite a few times and Luke sized it all up, including the space frame front end and came in just short of around 30k... but that did include a full gt4 running gear/ chassis work
-
^^^ totaly with Rick on this one. I miss my glanza for the fuel consumption, now i got the mr2 it's shite! i put £20 in and usually get about 60miles to it... so about 16-18mpg, thats with me trying to be good! i could quite happily waste that in a day no problem. so stop your moaning and think yourselves lucky lol
-
Dam! beat by just one vote lol... what can i say the better car won, well deserved Chanelle your car has really come along way. I dont think the calender would be complete without your stunning looking car in it well done ;)

This is proper awesome news Geo bud! always been a major fan of the site and all your hard work, hence donating (even if not needed) i feel i should help you as you have helped me with this site I might not own a V anymore but dont know of any other forum i would prefer to spend some free time having a browse. all the best mate, i know it will work as look what you have accomplished by yourself so far... it's mint! -
GT28 running with something like a emerald standalone and some shit hot ebc, wont be spoolong much later then a td04 on bad managment full :harhar: boost by about 4.5k plus some silly massive bang from that tubby... good for quarter mile, might not be so efficient on track though.
-
mmm some good ones voted for 3, but Duncan Glanza's one is just mint!! such a good perspective and the lighting is sweet and why thank you badassracer69, shame she is no longer mine :harhar:
-
haha indeed, it's definitely not the most financially feasible option lol
-
yeah Dan3sgte has done it, but it has taken years and it still isnt complete. main problem is obviously engine size, then you have gearbox/tamsmition issues. front end grip, what wheels discs to run... the list goes on and on.
-
haha if you have about 30k plus then yeah it will fit... there is ALOT if work needed to get it to fit and run smoothly, there are threads on it if you do a search. i would explain more but long story short it's just not worth the hassle to be honest.

Tb Developments Road Car, Ep91 :), Now Updated
Glanza_cl replied to TBDevelopments's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
looks sweet! and some lovely nice parts you just acquired for it! (side note... love the white 2!! haha) -
to be honest there such big cars without the turbo there pretty dam slow, look nice and sound mint but will quite easyily be beaten by even an almost stock V or Gt... but if you get a tubby ooo now you get into the fun stuff lol, plus with a bit of modding not alot can touch you
