wouldn't bother to be honest, go with one of the garrett variants if you want big power, the K series are getting quite old now, go for a nice modern roller ball bearing tubby. GT28/GT30 would work well
-
make sure the vac source is strong enough to bring the piston up, i put back in my hks and the vac line had my ebc, and boost gauge running off it and it would dump... i then figured out that the vac source wasnt strong enough. try connecting up the dump valve to it's vac source (so no other interferences are in the line) if that makes sence

Policeman Cut In Half....
Glanza_cl replied to 200sx-Starlet-Jay's topic in Not Work Safe - The Naughty Corner!
yeah i think it is, according to the story and vids back in 1995 he was hit by that lorry (which is the video at the top of the page) but he survived and doctors used skin from his head and other areas to close the severed torso... he has no legs but is now learning to walk with prosthetic legs. god knows how that poor bugger survived! -
yes but there's next year... and no more uni ever for me lol so shouldnt miss that one.

no wont be at this japshow (collides with uni work) but should make the next fingers crossed

i shale have to go out and have a test and see, there are two variations of the buddyclub spec1 and spec 2 i have the spec two which supposidly is 3" through out, but i have seen that restriction by the down pipe and when i have some time i wil try and get that bit cut out and true 3" section welded in. cheers for all the help mate, most appreciated if you manage to get any Greddy unit's in give me a pm (i will most proberly keep the HKS as i know how good they are but if i can get hold of a type S run that for a little bit id be well happy )
-
hhmm i definatly is stock ecu, but i would quite like to get it on a local RR to double check those figres... it has a rouge decat, i think the torque is down due to the buddyclub exhast. my friend had a similar thing happen on his glanza the bhp figure was high but as it was straight through it lost some torque. i'l have a play around with the avcr, i'v gone through all the settings so i have off(0.7bar stock) A (1.2bar) and B (1bar) manily on off as i wasnt sure how reliable it was to run on 1.2bar or 1bar as a daily drive.

i still dont like it lol

so far i'm at 303bhp which is pretty dam good but just for pure reliabilty i didnt want to push the ct20 to far (to much boost and ceramic blades= dam times:() the reason i want the type S is the sound... i love it to bits, thats funny psshhh and whissle sound. had a hks on the glanza and now this and just need a change. got a evcr and cant say i'm a great fan, awesome controler but hard to work, plus you cant actualy put in a boost value, and havnt found any sort of gain function yet. best i had was the HKS EVC6 that was the absolute tits! such a good controler. what would you say next s

i think it looks awful (the splitter not your photoshop Luke lol)

i dont have forged internals and as strong as the rev4 block and rods are etc i wouldn't wanna push more then a GT28/TD06. if you get any Greddy type S's in give me a pm as i really, really want one i have a new HKS Gen3 i would quite happily swap or put towards a Greddy unit. havnt had a chance to go into the forum but i will totaly get in there and have a poke around
-
Had a good old nosey through, i would love a Garrett Gt28!... oh i want also got all excited and thought, 'my god he is selling Greddy type s's!' then i saw they were all sold out aka discontinued lol

Happy birthday dude! have a good'n

not spooling, but the boost will be alot more stable and shouldnt creep as much, plus it's adjustable
-
the actuator will bleed off pressure from around 3psi (i think, i'm not sure what is it on a 4efte) and will fully open once the correct pressure is reached e.g. 11psi, 0.8bar. the most efficient is to get a ebc as this can regulate the wastgate and can open/close to sout helping to reduce creep and aid in better and more accurate boost pressure

you shouldn't really vent to atmosphere as it can get frowned upon...it's not classed as illegal but there is no problem with it going back into the inlet mani otherwise why would toyota design something to work that way. best way i know to run to catch can is: 1pipe of the pcv valve to catch can 2pipe from inlet mani to catch can 3rd run a filter of the rocker cover breather... as you stated you want to vent to atmospher so this way or having a filter on the catch can venting most variation of connecting will have the same effect.

your putting up alot of post about little things that have been covered a million times... go into the tech section or click the search button and have a nosey through. there was a massive thread on tgtt about the catch can... actuator has been done sooo much just type in actuator into the search bar actuator: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....ghlite=actuator catch can: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29532

hahaha 320 on stock internals i bet... with only a fcd and rrfpr! lmao he does make me laugh

thats a bit crazy!! i was going to put up a post about this the other day... i was washing my car and for some strange reason i thought 'i wonder how tight my wheel nuts are?' so i tried with my hand and all the passanger side bar one were loose! glad everything is ok mate, and no damage was caused! lucky escape as you said could have been alot worse!
-
haha that JAG makes sence lmao! mucho drink ftw!! (note i am tied down aswell, but much drink can still be consumed and it is an awsome laugh! )
-
i love just sitting in it, so comfy and it's amazing what the stock seats can do! you can change lumber support, bring in the side bolsters to hug you in more, raise/lower... so much from just a seat lmao! haha, i washed it and though if i dont take pics now i never will lol... and totaly mate, if there's ever a blue water or one up a bit more from me and closer your way type thing i try and make sure i get up there also that was one of the main reasons, funds arnt as free flowing as they once were and where i had time and money to put into the glanza i now dont so needed something nice a

anti lift kit goes on the front mate... hence the 'anti lift' name stops the front rising so much on acceleration and helps stop boating in general. look in the tech section, there is a tutorial on fitting them mate

you cant hit fuel cut on 10psi thats around 0.6-0.65 thats almost stock boost. where are you getting your psi reading from?? if hitting fuel cut, your clearly boosting more then 10psi so having the actuator disconnected shows it can boost more. whatever you are taking the reading from might be playing up. wind the actuactor out as far as possible (while keeping some preload on the actuator arm so it actualy can open the wastgate) then reset the EVC and put in your disired boost level (example 10-11psi) this should work fine and you should definatly with the EVC on/off notice a differenc

cheers mate i'm very picky so i could only choose the best of the bunch! also updated the top with a full spec list.
