Few Photos Of My Starlet And My Mates Frp Zetec S
Glanza_cl replied to Steve GT's topic in Photography Gallery
fezza's nice, what kind of bhp is it pushing 140's?? nice pics, your cars looking good! -
ah thats a good result on stock timming, you must have a strong engine. i made 138atw's so you must be at least that if not higher. it's funny as my graph looks exactly the same! even down to the slight dip in torque at 4500rmp it's a bit freaky lol
-
realy good result for only 0.6 i made that at 0.7 on my hybrid. what did it make at the wheels? nd do you have a afr graph? how advanced is it running to push that at only .6bar? lol lots of questions
-
yep they use the same suspension, there are plenty of glanza ones though. e.g. tein are widely used.
-
oooo nice work, i can guarantee you wont be disappointed! the gt spec hybrids are proper little torque Ho's! you can make 170bhp on stock ecu with the hybrid and almost the same in torque! looking realy good! Rick should come back on and get some praise lol I look forward to the next update!
-
perhaps it was a miss fire, when was the car last serviced? i would give it a good oil change, new plugs, new oil filter. fuel filter and i bet it will run like a dream
-
I know i need an emb lol, just waiting on some more pennies. the sound on my phone was pretty shit, but i will go and get a better one, sounds lovely now (although loud lol) cheers mate, i know people see expensive parts and just go bugger that there well expensive! but it does go to show that they do pay off... just under 170 at 0.7 that's pretty dam good (hope i can now get my massive head through the door lol) it is soo much better to drive cant wait for 1bar now
-
having 161ftpound of torque is more fun then the power lol. can wait for 1bar... 200brake here i come!
-
cheers mate i was surprised i got that to ir did take quite some tweaking and fiddling but we ended up with that. could have pushed for more but i didn't wanna get greedy and have a potential blown engine on my hands lol
-
each notch will probably indicate a degree of camber, nd if you have no bumps around and good roads that wont burst the coilies then go for it! i would love to slam mine but i live in a mine field of speed bumps which suck. regarding the seat there was a white V on pistonheads with a TRD seat in, the car sold with in a couple on weeks! lol you could get something like a livesport rear spoiler maybe or yeah livesport side skirts but nothing to dramatic as it looks mint as it is
-
yep factory optional extra and now cost silly amounts like if they still made them new they would be close to 1k new!...according to the option brochure lol at first i didn't like the rims but the more i look in this thread the more i like them and i think they have grown on me... i quite like them lol i personally think the exterior is perfect the only thing it might benefit from is a duck spoiler, anything else would ruin it.

Right here are my results from my dyno session: Best result being 166.6bhp at only 0.7bar Dyno graph: AFR: WHP power: it's a torquey ho lol more torque to the road the power lmao! ah it's fun to drive. super happy with the result as that's only at 0.75bar the dyno guy said we could have pushed and seen 175bhp out on the dyno but between us we decided to keep the timing down just to be safe. this is all on the stock ecu under fuel cut with my hybrid i'm running an uprated mr2 fuel pump and the fuel pressure is at 2.3bar as at 2.4bar it was running a tad rich. also gotta say the HKS
-
right i will slap this up in my members ride as well so i have some dyno sheets in there.
-
absolutely over the moon lol, finally all the hard work and money has paid off think i might just enjoy it working for a bit before i slap a emb on and get it mapped lol
-
well after loads of problems with timing and the car just running like a bitch, today was the day that i found out if all my hard work and money had payed off?? well good news i made 166.6bhp and 161ft of torque at only 0.7bar! Happy days!! Dyno graph: AFR: WHP power: it's a torquey ho lol more torque to the road the power lmao! ah it's fun to drive. super happy with the result as that's only at 0.75bar the dyno guy said we could have pushed and seen 175bhp out on the dyno but between us we decided to keep the timing down just to be safe. this is all on the stock ecu under fuel cut w

you can get a set of injectors from the RX7, they will suit you best probably. although if you google speed vision he does loads of different injector sizes specifically for the ep91/ ep82
-
Ahh dude that looks mint!! now either spray those rims black or get some nice beasty 15's on there! that's a really nice height, mine is lower and i scrap on everything!! does my head in! super nice progress bud ;)
-
yeah same front look uber sexy but the plain boot looks odd, ooo perhaps a carbon boot now that would look mega sexy! lol what bhp is it running with the dastek??
-
it wont come cheap lol, Omex or DTA can have functions for launch control and TC, but on the cheaper end the Ultimate as Wallace said can also handle launch control and i think traction control as just been figured out for it as well, could be wrong though.
-
sounds good mate, that's what i would have advised. yeah the dastek and emanage series are piggyback ecu's... so anything over idle they will be mapped to control. depending on were your based Nick Jones at Tuning Developments can map one mint Emanage blue or Emanage ultimate. Also Ricky at Race-Tech can map all kinds of ecu's both are on here as traders so check them out ;) if you want anymore advice about the hybrid route just slap up a post there are a few that have been down the hybrid route on here so we can help.
-
not sure what you mean there mate? what ecu do we run when we use dastek's?... we would just use the standard ecu and run the dastek as a piggyback, i will be running a emanage blue soon for my hybrid. but that or the dastek will be a good piggyback ecu for the hybrid. you can also get standalone ecu's by Jam, Blitz, Apexi. they come premapped with a more aggressive map and usually are set up to manage 1bar on a ct9 or hybrid... quite a few people run these are there a straight sawp for the stock ecu and are reasonable cheapish compared to buying, fitting and mapping a ecu.
-
Nice work, has come along really nicely ;) bet your super happy with the results, sits really nicely on those rims too
-
I thank you kind sir I will try and get a sound clip of the exhaust up and see what people think ;)
-
i mean stock engine as in, standard mani, cat, standard filter etc.... running on those would be a bad idea. i have everything uprated including fueling so running the hybrid on the stock ecu is not so much of an issue. you dont need a forged engine to run a hybrid just a good map nd you perfect ;)
-
wouldn't say it's rare but there arnt 'that' many around... mine is a snow edition too ;)
