  1. did you not know about this bud? there was a big thread about the remix a while back. have a search...i'm still am not a fan but hay its different lol
  2. ah ok i didnt see the blitz access at the end of your first post, well i wouldnt worry to much about the afr's then but would still be good to get them checked. report back if the blitz actuator made a difference? there the same as the jam i think so you might find you can only run a 1bar high boost not completly sure though.
  3. well getting high power at a budget isn't really the way to go... if you really want rid of the creep and and potential fueling troubles get it mapped (properly with an emb) if not then you just gotta expect to have problems, are cars arnt meant and never will run nicely with just bolt on mods with out being properly mapped. have you even checked the afr's? as the hybrid will have a greater flow of air then a ct9 which could potentially be confusing your ecu and making you run silly lean. sorry if that sounds harsh i just think if you spend all this money getting upto the level you have why
  4. i would be very careful if you decide to port it, as its quite old now and could course more harm then good. my advice would be get a good ebc (apexi, hks, blitz) to try and control the boost better and get it mapped that should solve your problem you'll be surprised how much of a difference a good map will do. plus the ebc will regulate boost much more efficiently and accuratly then just an actuator.
  5. look shite imo dont do it! but yes have seen it done, there an ep82 with a single wiper conversion floating around here or tgtt, there are a few but looks awful tbh.
  6. it's definitely possible but the reason it hasn't been done much, is because you can pick up a 4efte out of a glanza or ep82 for peanuts nowadays so that's the main factor... but if you have money, time and like to be different i would love to see a well supercharged ep91!
  7. as above, get a second hand one or spend the money it would cost to rebuild and get a hybrid... not necessarily that you want more power but over all it will be a better turbo and obviously if you decide to up the power you already have the means to do so.
  8. yeah regarding your pm, i'm on your side of doubt and would probably stay away. just go with what you no and that you know works on our starlets I vote 'Gay' lol
  9. gotta love some rare oem goodness lol
  10. i dont think you will notice any advantages from running spacers, they give a slightly wider track which in theroy would help with handeling, but 5-10mm either side isnt going to do anything realy. more for looks and getting the wheels to fit as you want. have a look here, theses are the center caps i was going on about: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trk...-All-Categories cheaper then spacers...medium upwards should fit fine, might get some myself.
  11. totally, i'm slowly gaining faith in her again. just cant wait to up the boost some more!
  12. yeah that was threw flux, the quotes go by your postcode and i just so happen to live in a super low crime rate area (if that is possible lol) so that helps alot. i would expect quotes between 1-1.5k. also the best quotes will be through phoning them, i spent a whole day just ringing round but pays off in the end
  13. I would say on average look to pay 1k plus, i managed to get £927 at 20 mine is due next month wooo so hopefully being 21 with 3years ncb will be go down even more. there are so so many threads on insurance and what everyone pays do a search loads will come up
  14. glanza v turbo bud , there's plenty that will insure you i guarantee but as above expect to pay a shit load lol
  15. lol Devil car... right update time again... problem is solved yay! but my car is running silly rich and i do nothing but pop flames at the moment... as good and fun as that sounds i only get 70miles to half a tank!!! (town driving only thought lol) and is making my car a bit boggy when cold so... I got a new fuel filter, new fuel pump and a lamber sensor to go next week hopefully. also new parts wise i will be getting a HKS evc6 put on oooo, and i have managed to find my self an original oem duck spoiler which is already on the car and i will put up picks tomorrow
  16. Adrian flux do insure on a glanza under 20, i was 19 and took out a policy with them so don't know why they are telling you that lol. look in the back of banzai and other jap mags as obviously there specific Japanese car specialist so you might have a bit more luck.
  17. yeah you can keep the gauge on alot of people do and i havnt ever herd of any problems with running a gauge long term. the gauge itself will either screw into the rrfpr or connect onto the end/middle of the line coming out of the regulator.
  18. looking good! so when it being all sprayed? I need a clutch really bad, that's an organic yeah? also perhaps just throw some heat reflective strip around the intercooler pipe as it's dam close to that mani lol
  19. ooo looks nice! not a fan of the gold stickers down the door, but yeah looking good. the center caps on the grids dont fit no, which is really annoying but with some 5/10mm spacers they would be all good...also on another note i think there are some bigger caps for thr grids on ebay somewhere.
  20. good little ebc, i decided to upgrade to a HKS evc6 as i wanted a bit more adjustability, but i holds boost strong and brought down my spool time by 100revs the only advice i can give as it's so simple to fit is just make sure you have the turbo/actuator lines going into the solenoid the right way round otherwise the ebc doesn't actually work lol... took me a while to figure out why i couldn't control the boost lol.
  21. cheers mate thing is i have a hks actuator so dont really no why i get it, my car just likes to be different, that or it really doesn't like me lol. i would love an evo but insurance still is killer, maybe next year though might get that, a Subaru or an ek9 cant decide lol
  22. i will put the boost up to 0.85 when i fit the HKS evc6 next week and see what happens creep wise, then if i still have problems i'l pop down and throw on your actuator and see what difference that makes
  23. ahh so all your asking is can you map the emb with the standard regulator? yes you can it will be fine, i will proberly get my emb mapped on my glanza's stock FPR. the rail should have come with the stock gt regulator on the end.
