  2. you might notice a difference as the autobahn piping runs over the mani which means the intake of air can get quite warm as the HDI piping doesn't go over the mani so heat soak into the piping wont be as bad so over a long run you would probably notice slight performance benefits from ruining HDI... but honestly i cant imagine you would notice any significant difference unless you done pure track racing.

  7. ^^^^ As the Bourk man said dont be silly and just slap a fcd on.... what you blow your engine from running lean? just dont what to see a thread saying that so take it off and wind down the boost until you have the supporting mods
  8. that's lsd mate mine has always made an 11 but i definitely dont have lsd, hhmmm. never knew one wheel would only spin. you learn something new everyday.
  9. yeah there could have been a reason the TT didn't work and it could have been that harness so if you have used it again and it still isnt working then i think that harness you used to route the ebc isnt working properly.
  10. indeed that's what traders can see and that's what they will do, find someone on here close and try and get them to cast an eye over your engine and see if they can spot the problem... i wouldn't worries to much doesn't sound like anything major. trial and error try fixing one thing and if that doesn't sort it move on, your engine will never just be dead and not work there will be a simple cause dont worry
  11. having a missing pipe of the actuator is in no way going to effect the turbo (apart from maybe over boosting) which yours isn't... my advice would be to find someone that knows GLANZA'S nd get them to look. just because someone does up other jap cars doesn't mean then automatically know how a starlet works. doesn't sound like there is anything major wrong apart from some wrongly placed pipes and maybe a leak.

  13. cheers bud, it's great having it back to normal, especially after all the hart ache! now i just want more boost! lol another little update, i ordered a full set of 10mm spacers so i should finally be able to fit my centre caps on lmao! they should be with me next week so i will pop those on and take some more pics

  16. lol, just noticed after a bit of rain i need to do a bit more sealing around the top as it as let a small amount or rain onto the rear reverse lights inside the boot nothing major quick bit of clear sealant job done

  18. cheers mate, yeah cosmetically i think i'm done with the outside of the car... i might get a oem front lip but i'm not sure yet. next step is get the ebc on and up the boost to 0.85. (again) i miss boost
  19. got all the above bit's on minus the ebc but wow i think it's safe to say my car is cured! no bogging, pulls like a train again. HUGE thanks goes to Luke and Jules at Pacific Works for the effort and time they have put into my car. Here are the pics of my duck spoiler: side on view:

  21. then go for the Organic, dam nice clutches and i very tempted to get one.
  22. i would go for a CAP clutch save your self some of that dollar and do a full service could also get an Exedy Organic... i'm sure you dont need me to tell you why as i'm sure you know but the above to will happily support your hybrid (it's Torque that kills clutches not BHP) you could get a Paddle but imo thats a bit over kill on a 1bar hybrid. I would say either CAP, Exedy Organic, Black Diamond race clutch.

Hey Geo bud, UKSC is awesome! some lovely chaps on her... but i find that complicated or technical questions dont always get answered (this is probably as a large percentage of people have an N/A so the turbo knowledge isnt quite as large) so i tend to just pop over to tgtt for the odd dilemma in need of a quick fix, but yeah it is a very friendly site. it's been nice to see it develop into what is has in the time i have been here, and glad i have been able to support the club as a donated member, as the changes have definitely been for the better
