  1. looks nice but i hope you didnt pay £4995 for it lol, looks tidy any plans for it?
  2. lol ah that engine has saved my cars life a few times lol good progress
  3. is that Jules spare engine? Inlet mani is looking nice, i wise i could take mine out and clean it properly, just not worth the effort though lol
  4. there both the same cores, 99% the same fmic, but as above i would buy from Dave as you know you are getting a great service
  5. theres one closer this way to me that does it for £55 but i guess for the extra petrol getting down it will work out more.
  6. yep, i dont think it's actualy needed, i took mine of my glanza (the whole pipe bit)
  7. no if you dont hit fuel cut then it isnt going to cause any harm, more annoyance then anything as if you do boot it a bit you will soon hit fuel cut. just take it easy
  8. do you have a boost gauge so you no what boost you are running?
  9. have you got lowing springs on? might just be a foobed shock. you checked the top mounts?
  10. yeah sleeping lol thats what he'l say
  11. cant say i really understand the question?? 1.5 glanza s?? you mean 1.3 glanza v?? or do you mean the 1.5 from the paseo? nd then you say you will run 1bar on act9 so you all ready no how much boost you will be running. you cant push a ct9 past 1bar as it is out of it's efficiency and wont last long at all. you can push a stock 4efte to around 220bhp IF the engine has been well looked after and IF the engine has been mapped safely.
  12. ahh and about time I have all of those favorites bring on the awesome parts!
  13. ah that got to you quick, nice one glad it's all ok. if you need any help setting it up give me a shout
  14. lol, nice one dude, just like my little one when i first got her was also imported by the boyfriend for the old owner but she couldnt afford the insurance. I think that's a good price, you pay for what you get and there are to many shitter out there. so...any ideas to what the first mods will be
  15. yeah 34 is fuel cut, you sure the boost gauge is ok? check the plugs if it's hesitating, check the actuator is ok.
  16. they have orderd the TT relocation, i have one on my car it's in my car thread if you want a pic?
  17. all of the above would be more enough, i run a sps mild steal mani and sps decat and i'l be at 200 soon so sps's, zisco, wikedep would all be more then good enough. but as stated stay far far way from autobahn!
  18. drove like shite tbh, there was no power unless you really reved it, like redlining it. there felt like there was no torque, you could put your foot to the floor and it just done nothing. also the engine would get stupidly hot very quickly as the cams were almost overlapping. the cams were re aligned and cambelt put back on dizzy timing re set and that sorted that problem. why do you think your cam timing is out? you had the cams out the head recently?
  19. dude that looks like a good'n, will be awesome another joining the amazing black V club lol looks nice and if it's standard there cant be to much wrong with it minus body work. did he import it himself? as when there imported they should have the cambelt done at the same time as the mot etc but if he isnt sure i would get it done just to be safe.
  20. ah you have the standard actuator i thought you had an uprated one. ok well have you tried de-restricting it anyway so you only run high boost? (just uncross the top two pipes)
  21. well you can get the gauge in and connect it up to the vac line and it will work 100% but you just wont have a light on the gauge at night then at some point find someone that can help out.
  22. boost gauge is simple all you need to do is run a vac line into the engine and t piece it in somewhere, then in the cabin just connect the gauge upto a live to show the light at night (mine is on the actual light live so when i turn on the lights the gauges light up) and an earth that is it. hardest part will be finding a live.
