nd small update i guess: my 2 has now had a full service... gearbox was a bit crunchy so drained the gearbox oil nd soon found that needed a change so got that changed aswell and was much better. got my Greddy typeS fitted but need to fit a harder spring as it's leaking on idle. car had a general look over and all is minty fresh got a few idea's were to take this next but not 100% yet... might get it mapped as the fueling is pretty awful lol (i get 16-20mpg! )

I think around stock power, so about 133-140 if you think how old the cars are now and all the shit that builds up causing a loss of power, adding the mods should bring it back up to factory standards again

yeah, i found that the adjustable hole was rounded so when i went to adjust it, it just popped out so opened it all up and put a bolt on the inside so now it holds as i'm screwing into a bolt on the inside of the housing if that makes sence lol I'm not to sure if i'l be going gt28 and wouldnt wanna push the gt30 unless i ran forged pistons... so i might just get a hybrid ct26/7 as i want to make sure i can run 1-1.2 bar but dont fancy that daily on the ceramic ct20. just trying to keep money tight and costs down so cant invest in a Gt series tubby. i'l totaly have to pop down and check out

i personaly wouldnt touch a mbc! yes dawes devices are good for a mbc but still if you'v forked out on a td04 why run the risk of over boosting and killing a rod... Gizmo do reasonably cheap new ebc's, but you can pick up a second hand ebc for like £100 which is nothing in my eye's for keeping your car safe. do it cheap do it twice!

A nice Garrett Gt28/30 variant would work well... usable power with a good spool on a 5E :harhar: whats this project aimed at... just a good road beast? or other?

I know chicco and he is a completly reasonable guy and not dishonest, have you tried talking to him?? rather then just jumping straight in and launching a despute with paypal? he did say the bushes come with it in the add but perhaps he just forgot to package them, at least talk it through and i'm sure at a minimum he will refund you the price of the bushes, or try and find them and send them out to you... you have the arb which is perfectly fine, drop links are seperate from whitline anyway, so i'm sure it wont be hard to find some bushes, if he cant find them but refunds you the difference

indeed cant realy cure boost creep on a ct9 as there pants lol, think of boost creep as a plastic cup with a hole in the bottom, as you pour in more water (boost) it will start to get full, now if you push to much water (boost) into the cup it will get to the point were more water is going in then coming out the hole in the bottom so it overflows (boost creep) think of it that way, the cup is the turbo so if you push to much pressure into the turbo it will get to the point were it cant do anything with it and cant get it out the wastgate... causing boost creep.

must weigh as much as my right shoe! i'm sure it goes some but without a turbo or supercharger conversion your pretty much at your limits with it... still a nice little ride you got there

to be honest that piping looks pretty shite, i would expect them to blow off the pipe everyother day... but it is cheap and will serve it's perpose if thats what your looking for. nothing wrong with the core, but personaly i would go for a slightly bigger but thinner core, rather then the small but thick just for serfice area. if you want cheap that will work... how well it will work is the main factor.

could be a sticky thermostat, so that would be a good thing to change plus they dont cost much. then look into the engine temp sensor as again they dont cost to much and it's all temp related. when was the coolant last changed and also the oil... how old is that? my guess could be a sticky thermostat which makes you think it's upto temp but when giving it some it releases shows the proper temp. does the temp go back up when you boost it? also you mention it sits dead half way... i was allways under the impression it should sit just under the half way mark, again leading me to belive it the

very similar spec to mine realy and i had mine up for £4.5k and got just under that, so i would say around that is a realistic price to sell.

you mentioned toped out at 140kph?? thats just under 90mph, i'm confused lol that a very short gear set. still shit quick up to 100kph! but also as mention wheel spin in second in 4x4?
