  1. Teaser shot from my recent Japanese Performance magazine feature Out November/December, high rez pics will pop up here when its released
  2. Not bad at all, needs to be lower (front and rear) but i am biased for lows lol.
  3. Fit whatever you like mate, could fit a td05 20g if you really wanted, as long as you keep the boost under or around 0.8/8.5bar with no boost creep you will be fine.
  4. Had it on my 3Gs no probs and now have it on my 4S, lovely jubbly
  5. Thats a cheap price as it goes lol, most tuners will want £30-£50+ an hour on a dyno and take a reasonable time tuning the ecu, road tuning costs less but for dastek you need to go somewhere with a dastek licence
  6. As per your other thread, wait till after winter imo. Lag will also not aid traction just use your head and dont floor it
  7. every set up is different so it isnt a case of just adjusting it a bit i'm afraid. all AFRs will need setting up timing and the ecu tables will need re scaling to match you set up and how it performs. If it really was that cheap and simple everyone would be running them. My personal advice would be wait till after winter, do some research and be 100% sure on what you want to do when the weather starts to improve in the new year
  8. take into consideration setting up the piggy back and mapping, that alone will be around the £300 plus mark
  9. Then you wont be needing a fcd or rrfpr, the stock fuel regulator is more then capable. get the turbo fitted on the stock ecu, then limp it over to wherever your getting it mapped and get them to wire up the piggyback and map for you.
  10. When was the gearbox oil last changed? i bet it would feel much nicer with fresh oil running round the syncro's. A good roll and flair sorts most fitment issues, just make sure you have a heat gun and take your time
  11. I do totally get you i dont like using the word 'Hellaflush' at all, sounds ridiculous! But i do feel the whole following is broken into to sections 1) Those doing it write and thinking about what they do while trying to be unique for themselves not necessarily the 'scene'. Creators 2) Those that dont know what the f*ck there on about, drive round in some crappy beater of a car with illest/Fatlace and canibeat sticker on saying how gangster scene dey iz with dair cut springz! Followers Both are part of that movement but unfortunately its the later of the two which gives the following a b
  12. Ahh cool, they have adjustable top mounts don't they? Will make life a million times easier come fitment.
  13. dont get wider fenders keep the stocks, just roll and flair them . Also getting some coilovers with camber top mounts will give you a couple of degrees to bring the top of the wheel in. Be good to see where you take this man
  14. I dont really see how this is a 'kid' thing? to do it right it actually takes a fair amount of money and work. Obviously there are going to be people that dont understand it or like it, i mean why take a car that is perfectly fine and make it role round on its chassis rails?? Some people hate me for taking a mx5 (supposed B road blasting legend) and making it sit on its arse, then fail to see why adding a Garret GT2560R helps Because... I like it . I would consider doing it to a starlet but tbh its too hard and the results would be pretty awful haha
  15. You want 'stance' sell the starlet... it isnt going to happen, they have pants arches and a live Axel which really limits your options with height and camber specs You would need fully adjustable coilovers with camber top hats, flair and pull the crap out of all the arches to fit even a reasonable low offsets in there with a low ride height. Going low isnt the problem but getting low offset wheels under the arches reasonable is going to be a real ball ache! enjoy lol
  16. I had a rev4 turbo, dont bother with the na they suck balls. The turbo's arnt scary and if your that worried just buy a boost controller with duel maps for low boost and high Tim will be able to advice you on the best model as well but i personally would only go rev3 or above ;). Can be pretty thirsty (mine was) but honestly best driving possession to date i'v ever had was in my rev4. such a nice place to sit and be!
  17. They run off a MAP sensor not MAF... same principle is applied though
  18. In short there a very very basic form of piggy back... that only controls fuel trim
  19. Some of mine from the recent StanceWorks meet at Ace Cafe some more will be up later
  20. cheers guys, WIM was an awesome place and they really did a great job. not only did they sort alignment but they also went the extra mile to sort my tyre scrubbing issue due to height by increasing the front wheel caster to push it back that couple of mm for extra clearance for me . Should also have my new front splitter soon, so moooore pics lol
  21. Update: Well now the wheels, tyres and suspension is all set up and at its final height i thought i was well over due an alignment! What better place to go then Wheels In Motion... i had herd great reviews from the place and was only a 40min drive so off i set- Arrival: Guys lined the car up then decided it would defiantly need some wooden planks to make it on... still scraped like a mofo! But made it on Strapped on all the alignment equipment and got to work- Cheeky butt shot! All finished and sitting next to her younger sibling waiting for its turn to take the stage: End r
  22. Tiny Update, Got some black matt vinyl through as i was to scared to paint over my freshly sprayed flares, now the black seal line continues over the flares. Looks a tiny bit more OEM lol Cheers again Josh for the vinyl
  23. Cheeers guys ... you'l make me blush haha. Driver its already got a duck tail, just blended it into the boot lid Semi pro photo shoot soon so will whore some more pics up.
