  1. having baffles put in to silence it down wont overly restrict it. ask them and they will let you know what they can do. you wont get it to 'stock' but what the point in that
  2. BUMP Last week and last push, any small input over a few pages would be hugely appreciated. thaaaaaaaanks * just to confirm there are no boobies and no pic of my gf* and wont be.
  3. ^^^^^^ woooo mega massive sig alert! might wanna adjust that Glanza Mac
  4. nah bruv go for teh ebay onez, they are bear good yeah. dey can hando loads of powerz!
  5. personally i'm not going to get my hopes up... might be for sale again next week pleeeeeeeeease just get an engine in there (stock, modified, used, new....whatever!) and enjoy the dam thing!!
  6. Or like i said originally put a stock engine in there (out of a car you no ran perfect fine in the first place) This car is a rolling piece of art work for your company. how you going to advertise your work if you brake it?... you wont. Your getting really court up in the engine side of things, which has nothing to do with your body kits and what you produce. you'v sorted the paint, have sexy body work but keep trying to hard with the engine. If you brake this you will be cutting off your nose to spite your face.... e.i. silly
  7. When boosting the engine check light will come on as a sign your about to hit fuel cut (like a last resort preventative), not that you have hit fuel cut. But people tend to hit fuel cut so quickly it pops up and they assume its because they hit fuel cut. There where times i boosted and the check light came on but i didnt hit fuel cut, but it would have been right on the voltage thresh hold. This normally would happen in the higher gears where your building greater boost levels from being on throttle for allot longer. (hence why you should set up actuators and EBC's in 3/4th or 5th gear) I ca
  8. yeah my vote it with dark hair too, looks hot. I'm in Herts, clearly need to model on my car... although having an mx5 and you being 6,4 in heels might make it look like a toy . P.s. nice arse
  9. no , most of them are ballet dances... they have man chests! if there where boobies it would have taken me allot longer then 15mins
  10. My Girlfriend needs your help guys, she is doing her MSc / PHD in dance psychology and needs more male participants in her survey on dance emotions. It takes about 15-20mins but even if you start and have to bail thats fine just a few slides would be much appreciated Heres the link: http://sdu-surveys.herts.ac.uk/dance Any help is mucho appreciated
  11. Small Update: spent about an hour this morning cleaning up and refurbishing the shift turret this is what i was faced with: it minged big time, everything was split and oil was everywhere :wallbash: cleaned it up and refilled the turret with fresh oil: there was a bit in there but was grey! so put a little fresh oil in then extracted it to clean it all up in there. Fitted new lower and upper boots and also greased the lower shifter nylon thread for good measure: All finished and back together with new leather gear gaiter: What i was left to dispose of:
  12. something has defiantly popped off. Is the actuator arm still connected the the turbo? is there a split in any of the vac lines? it also might be in safe mode.... try re setting the ecu.
  13. ^^ exactly. if the old one was leaking and rubbish and you change to something like a HKS it may 'hold boost better/reduced boost spike and decrease spool times' but all you doing is returning your engine to it original efficiency. upping the boost via an uprated actuator will provide the 'more power' section
  14. I run 195/50/15's but then again i have them stretched over an 8" rim so it might aswell be a 45 profile lol
  15. yeah first order i had with them was completely messed up and took a while to sort, got some free stuff though and have ordered again since with no problems. its a small company with high demand... mistakes happen. give him a shout and he will sort it out.
  16. dont think you can get conversion spacers any smaller then 20mm so would start getting a little close under the arches. unless Liam made a typo and actually meant 4x100
  17. wont have a problem mate.
  18. as above, pretty dam bodged at that
  19. stop boosting like mad and make sure your antifreeze/coolant and oil are regularly topped up if needed. dont let them get low.
  20. once its gone round and coated your engine bugger knows how you will get that shit out when you want to do a proper job.
  21. why bodge it? it may last for a bit but honestly looks like the most dodgiest solution out there. sort it properly mate
  22. I wouldn't even say they go sideways... well they might but they either dont come back or snap like a mother F and then your going the other way. I loved mine and miss it alot, gripped like mad and was fast as fook but defiantly not the easiest to control when they let go!
  23. i'd use a VF35 over a VF34... it has a smaller exhaust housing and would be much better suited to the smaller cc engine. alot of stock 05 STI's run launch control and a very mild switchable AL on there stock VF35's. get on scoobynet and you can pick one up fairly cheap... think i sold my very good condition one for £300 or there abouts. sell the TD05 and you can make your money back
