Fuji finepix, pretty old now but does the job great... and yeah had a fish eye lens attachment on for the last two cheers man, these have some mean amount of grip round the corners but give it some and they slide great! bit harder to slide now with the 15x8 ET0's but i like a challenge -

well coilovers are on and i wound them down as far as they could go while still retaining the helper springs. either way its more then low enough for my area and the dam speed bumps Pics: Low enough?... meh it will do lol Mmmm minty fresh -
personally i wouldn't weld it, i made that mistake and as nice as the HKS sound it got fuuuucking annoying after a while!... chirp, chirp, chirp, every time i came off throttle but i couldn't do shit as i welded it to my charge pipe lol! but bring on the pics! i need to see this top mount

the wheels have grown on me silver so will be staying that colour for the time being. spoiler is now on a plane over to here! cant wait to get it on! I will be one of three with it in the whole of the UK!! mega rare loveliness FTW! -
looks shit! I Lie, looks fooking mint!

i wouldn't worry about modding the body, it will be permanent but why do you want a stock car? if your worried about re sale value tbh your car would sell a million times better looking like it does with a full kit and crazy wheels then it would being returned to stock and thrown in with the rest of the sheep. flair the crap out the arches, and use a good rubber bonding agent for the over fenders, this will allow for movement in the front and rear wings without effecting or putting stress on the paint. so many wide arches get smoothed in and i havnt seen problems with the body work cracking t

he has some wicked rare parts, might fire him an email or two with some question. cheers for the link. I'm so undecided, they look awesome but then again i only really like them on black 5's. might give one ago when summer comes along me thinks -
i would just sand it down to size if it causes to many problems... that's a big gap and wont match unless you take some off by the look of things. also you have gone to all this effort with the kit and the low offset wheels i just think its kinda a waste to not roll the arches and lower it more... you almost have a ridiculously nice car on your hands but to pull something like this off you have to take it the full nine yards. if done right this car will be become a unique and trend setting car, something people look back on and look to match in style but you reeeealy have to push it just that
-
personally i dont like grids any more, far to may about. but white on white should look schweeet regardless. aslong as it goes low! arch gap will be gay. has to be atleast as low as your last black gt was!.... you have been warned

Glanza_cl replied to Glanza_cl's topic in Lifestyle General
Well........... This drove away from me this morning :o really didn't want it to go but insurance is a dam joke and fuel was silly. Oh well got my little mx5 project to keep my busted heart busy lol Fair well you fine car you! -
toyota sell the clear brake light cluster if i remember correctly. they are defiantly around somewhere
-
not sure how much the over fenders stick out but i would really recommend pulling or flaring the shit out your arches... then hiding them under your over fenders, will make driving it sooo much better and will eliminate scrubbing looking good though, bout time someone done something different!
-
www.clubroadster.net is awesome, but its American... mx5nutz is the best uk one imo, mainly the younger generation. mx5oc is for the oldies lol well thats what i have found anyway, try having a stock mx5 on clubroadster and you wont last long
-
tbh the starlets are shit for going low... unless you like wheels tucked in your arches get a different car. you could if you really wanted to persist with a starlet get overfenders, cut the inner arch so you dont scrub... that would allow you to get a low offset wheel i.e ET0 in there without to many issues. but belive me it isnt as easy as getting coilovers and some 'phat' rims. P.S. Banded steelies suck balls!

nope no rattling . It was held on by not alot though, not much off the bottom of my bumper existed... cant remember now but i think it was purely the side bolts holding it on make some more holes in the brackets that come with it and mount it as far back as possible, or atleast angle the bottom of the cooler in as much as possible to still get a good fit. its the bottom of the HDI coolers that causes the problem. other then that a dremal and some files, take your time and it can come out allright
-
as sparky said, caps wont fit on the front... you need a minimum of a 10mm spacer iirc to get them to fit updates look good though, keep up the progress

with a bugger load of cutting:

@starlet666, course velocity can be effected... even if you have an appropriate size exhaust. if your turbo is silly hot and then the exhaust gases enter a cooler exhaust... even colder by the backbox exhaust velocity is going to slow regardless, yes it will still be quick as its a constant from the engine but it can still be effected. heat wrapping will retain the heat and keep the gases on a constant smooth flow. Also i think wrapping an exhaust is never pointless (if dont correctly), not as vital on a street car to a race car but still beneficial.

Ah yeah i have seen that for sale on scooby net i think, looks sweet... should of bought mine though lol
