  1. Dont remind me lol! its purely the fact the insurance premiums have gone up 34% this year, fuel is through the roof and the scoob drinks it, and tax sucks balls. thats about it lol

  3. fook me that exhaust is restrictive! soon as you put a 2.5" straight through from decat you will see a huge difference... plus the boost will naturally increase with the better flow. will definitely run alot more power, tbh its probably not great creating all that back pressure for the turbo running such a small exhaust. my first thing would be exhaust. then possible actuator but i would prefer a boost controller, will be fine with the stock actuator anyway. dont worry about the fmic piping doesn't make that much difference unless running loads of boost and aiming for big power, you spoolin
  4. dont think you could run them day to day as the offset is to great meaning like the white SR they will stick out, this is illegal on uk roads... the tyre thread cant poke out past the fenders. plus there 13's lol... that is going to look awful on a GT, the SR pulls it off as is a smoother rounder shape. but if you want some go for it, give it a go. you might need arch extenders to cover the tyre tread also your going to run mega high as 13's are so small, might have traction issues with a turbo as well 15's spin easy as it is, imagine trying to accelerate on 13's just a few things to think
  5. I dunno probably , i'm sure it will be just fine... if external wastgates can handle 1000bhp GTR's and Supra's i'm sure it will be just dandy in your bay . keep the updates coming, build is getting there
  6. yeah turbo jacket might be a good call, proven to reduce under bonnet temps which is always good! . heat wrap the mani perhaps... or could get some heat reflective tape near the external wastgate. my worry is the heat might mess with the external wastgates diaphragm
  7. where's the downpipe going to go? isnt the ex wastgate now in the way... might get a bit toasty if it close to the downpipe? looks good though lol
  8. I have a full carbon fibre one... cost a bit but looks the freaking nutz!
  9. I didn't think they did automatically... i mean there is the little switch you can push to fold them in but never herd of them closing on closure/lock as standard?
  10. mate i'm not going to tell you to keep it and your being silly as your not, you 'v got the right idea... family first. its only a car they come and go, some you get more attached to then others but you will always find another one. sorting your house will make looking after a new born so much easier! you dont have to worry about danger items getting near him/her... plus if the mrs is getting a C section your going to have to do all the running around, the last thing you want is crap/mess/wires getting in your way. Sounds like you got a plan so i would stick to it, keep on the hunt see how i
  11. any jam/blitz/mines/sard etc plug and play ecu for the ep91/ep82 wont run you lean or advance the timing to much mate. if you see one for your car my advice is just get it, dont worry about everything you just said as it wont happen
  12. Sup man, welcome to the club! get some pics up of the mrs glanza... also a pic or your scoob wouldn't go a miss
  13. at this stage in the ecu's life i doubt you would be able to tell... it has a basic map which will have changed from then due to being in so many cars and adjusting. some of them run alot richer then others... these will likely to be the ones that where originally mapped for a bigger turbo or hybrid. why would you want to no anyway? as long as find a manual one for a ep91 your fine . Also i dont think there are any codes to indicate what its mapped for unfortunately mate
  14. No not at all buddy, alot of the ecu's where different. they all have a chip in which jam/blitz then mapped the car on... some are mapped for a ct9, some are mapped for a hybrid, some i sure where mapped in japland for bigger turbos as i'm sure the japs didn't just stick to hybrids as upgrades. as to which one you get when you find a jam/blitz/mines/sard ecu its impossible to say unless you perhaps RR and log the fueling and results. I wouldn't say they 'learn' but they do adapt slightly to your individual set up EDIT: and yeah thats a stock ecu, the actuator is adjustable and is probably
  15. pictures!!!.... this thread has been very bad for me and now i think i might go up and buy one i have been looking at. dam you!
  16. as above mate, they will fit but you probably will need some slip on spacers... 10mm couple of quid, job done, sorted ;)
  17. this: http://www.rhdjapan.com/sard-standard-type...ite-black-55194 some fuel lines and clips and your sorted, till you find what you want ;)
  18. can allways get the most common type as finding a low offset isnt allways easy so there will be loads of 15x7 ET35 grids... then you can just get some spacers if needed to clear the calipers. 5-10mm spacers should clear it no probs ;)
  19. doubt it... most upgrade to 16's with big brake upgrades. I would look at 16x7/8 et 38/40. but if you realy dont want 16's then possible 15x7/8 et 30/35
  20. Yeah 0.85 bar so it will fuel fine till then... what happens after? you run the risk of running lean as thats all the ecu is fueling for. (luckily the japs mapped these cars on the rich side anyway so most engines will survive from slight lean afr's) Personally mate i would get a rrfpr to tide you over, the hunt for a jam/blitz etc ecu may take a while so good to be safe for the time being. the rrfpr is fine on its own the injectors are more then capable of upto 200bhp. also when do injectors shut? they would be on a constant duty cycle...
  21. what you need is Flux Capacitor!... that and 1.21 gigawatts, soon as you hit 88mph nobody got shit on you forget all these hybrids and td04's ;)
  22. loads of cars have many, many owners... doesn't mean much if the cars in good condition. due to the cost of insurance, and generally the type of market people will only hold onto a car for year or so. I have never had a car more then a year haha! so yeah i'l be contributing to the level of owners cars have i dont think a car has been ragged if its had multiple owners...might be harder to trace modifications, but aslong as it has good service history etc. my glanza came with no jap history but was stock with a uk lady owner so wasnt so much of a risk
  23. dont worry about the angled vac port just leave it unconnected. i believe its supposed to connect upto your wastegate or turbo somehow.... creating a small air pocket for the lower chamber to seat on creating a greater pressure in the top chamber increasing its response time when you lift off throttle.
