  1. To get a classic policy you have to be of a certain age (according to car type), it usually has to be a second car and has to limited to a certain mileage per year. If it was as simple as just ringing up a classic broker and get a cheap policy everyone would do it.... and I've tried For instance, my mx5 can get a classic policy on it BUT i have to be 25, it be my second car and mileage is limited to 5k a year max. On the other hand at 21 you can get a Beetle (old school one) as a second car with much higher max mileage, all depends on the car really.
  2. Ahh Jason found it... what yours needs to look like! tinted clear sidelights: @Ryan, yeah man they should be good. bargain for the money so as long at they go low i'm happy ;)
  3. there Racelands from the Netherlands... i'm sure of a very similar design though. not to hard from reviews on mx5 forums, but do go silly low! lol ;)
  4. No ;) as it looks shit and dirrrty haha TSi's suit it well with the grey paint work, on your lovely mint example i think they might look out of place. but blacked out clear ones would look awesome! there a slammed thread on clubroadster of some epic blue one but cant find it this minute... you might have seen it? with like 2k wheels?
  5. Old TSi side light intakes: New LED TSi side light intakes ;): Now i have side lights and indicators again plus its MOT friendly ;) More to come soon
  6. not really... yes it covers the inlet but the mesh surface area is smooth and non restrictive (to an extent) a filter has a fabric or paper gorse the air has to pass through as well as a mesh holding the structure of the filter together, it then has to pass down a duct to the inlet on the turbo. along the path to the intake the air can become quite turbulent in the intake filter pipe (dependant on the design of intake) a silicon intake pipe will create a lot less air turbulence as its smooth and the air has nothing to get restricted through, but in either sense passing air through a restricte
  7. Compressor surge i.e 'chatter/flutter' is bad.... to an extent, depends how you look at it. By blocking off your dump valves pressure from the turbo cant be released there for when off throttle heads back to the turbo and gets forced back into the compressor blade which creates the chatter/flutter sound (air getting chopped up by the compressor wheel). In theory forcing air pressurised over 18+psi back into the compressor blades slowing there rotation or putting excess stress on the shaft bearings isnt a good idea. But in reality who cares it sounds good, and tbh unless your running a turbo
  8. tailgate silver, satin top and rails, carbon ends

  13. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RACELAND-COILOVER-SU...#ht_1462wt_1139 Put in a best offer, i tried £170 and it got excepted straight away so i reckon you could push and get then for around £160/65 easy there's also a massive thread on mx5nutz about them and general reviews came out that there solid coilovers that go silly low and are a bargaaaain! cant wait to get these bad boys on!

  16. as above mate unfortunately not allot you can do. Surly these would have been fairly basic checks as you went round that car? or was this like over ebay? i allays test in car electrics, did you not look under the car? and surly you would have noticed tracking when out on a test drive?
  17. just standard old usb cable that came with the HD... you will have to format the hard drive for xbox use, but they give you a prompt for that anyway. then if you want to use it back as a storage divice for your comp you have to format it on your computer. xbox addy: Sneaky88
  18. not off the shelf mate, if you want such a turbo you will need a custom one made. not a big deal though Ricky@racetech on here can sort you a mani and down pipe easy
  19. yes that is true i guess, but potential wise the vf34 is greater... whether that translates to a 4E/5E probably not. personaly i think the vf35 is a better turbo anyway lol. I'v allways wanted a gt28 on one of my cars! one day i shale have one
  20. Vf34 is bigger then the Vf35 and i had an easy 330-40bhp on the vf35... plenty of vf34's close to the 400mark on scooby net Subaru fitment turbos are far from crappy...but i do agree that there are some mighty fine Garrett variant turbos out there!
