for gods sake. i was certain they were interchangable. whats annoying is i had a glanza column but it got scrapped with the shell ages ago. can anyone shed any light when doing the conversion what they have done with regards to fitting the wiper stalks on the n/a column?

I have an N/A conversion. need to put a glanza steering column in as the mounts for the stalk etc are different. will the glanza column fit with the N/A rack. pretty sure ive seen it done but just wanna check first before i go and buy it tomorow? would appreciate the help cheers

Hi guys, looking for a glanza steering column as the stalks dont connect to the n/a column and looks like changing the column may be just as simple. scrapped the last one! cheap as pos please guys as funds are running real low atm and yet another step back to getting my car on road. really want to drive the bloody thing! cheers

I HATE WIRING LOOMS!!! in a similar predicament. just swapped all my looms for a third time, using a standard auto glanza engine and interior loom. had already converted the rear and light wiring loom, but looks like its a spliced n/a loom as the previous looms were from a conversion. so they now dont mate up with standard interior glanza loom. complete pain in the ass. what are you doing about the mounts for the stalks being different?

that is true you can do that. but im no sparky and just converting all the looms was easiest for me. also theres a good condition 4efte on tgtt.com atm i think. quite reasonably priced.

tempted but its very dear for just a boss. got mine on an old one for like £16 delivered off the bay new. could you show me the otherside and how the horn connects up?

that boss.. was it for the optional extra momo wheel that comes with the advance as standard? did the horn work well with this boss?
