  1. Friday it is then folks? Met a lad with a glanza tonight, told him about the meet but he works till 5-6pm so cant be helped. Got a ride in it and it blew me away... anyway He said he'd join up here soon and said he'd be up for Bishops Court so another inductee for you to guide Laura. He's a newbie and wanted to know more about what he can do to his starlet so of course I had to direct him this way lol. Im available until about 4pm So an earlyish start would be good? Depending on our activities lol? Newcastle has lots to do. Donard Park Car Park (main meeting place and perfect for uks
  2. Excellent photos Gaz Looks like you had an awesome day! Lots going on and lots of mint cars at the hatch. Really talented picture taking mate, magazine quality lol. Thanks for sharing with us man. Joz
  3. Please tell Marc what way the Konis attach to the strut inserts Sime. I remember when I considered them you said they weren't a bolt on affair. Joz
  4. So what are your thoughts on all this Luko Joz
  5. Top Work!! Now thats what I call attention to detail. Joz
  6. Sounds like everyones up for Newcastle & The Mournes then Awesome, just dont expect me to be your guide around the Mournes lol Maybe we could scout out a few places in Newcastle Laura, and see what the craic is with that big car park. Altho Im so near, Ive never been up the Central Park way before... Luko your thoughts on this. And Jay, you can only make it on a friday mate? We'll have to make a good morning/afternoon of it lol see if Som & co are up for it? Yea I've got work too Laura, take it easy all. Joz
  7. Sounds good Laura. Bishops Court, Donard Park (is that not a golf course lol? and Kirky all sound immense as does a meet in Newcastle where we can all have some serious fun in the arcades lol!!! Im really looking forward to it. I really want to go to more places with my starbo lol, have been low profile too long so it would be cool to meet everyone when I can. Phil mate, I had no idea you were so close? Only 1.5 hours? So wouldnt be hard for us to meet after all then. Peace Joz p.s sounds like u really enjoyed that gig Laura lol
  8. You knows it Sparketh! Will take pics so u can see its TRUE!!! Joz
  9. Haha I took the liberty of informing Mart myself. Could it be too short notice tho thats the thing... Laura seems really up for it and Marts not sure if his red beast will be ready for that date. Joz
  10. Newcastle sounds perfect Laura, but where lol. Its closer to me than Downpatrick anyway Can you imagine if everyone met down there, we could have a UKSC Initial D Battle, the arcade down there has proper drifting pods where the whole thing moves... and there are dodgems down there too. But where to go in Newcastle to have a photo shoot lol... Got your number by the way, will fire a txt. I would love it if you could show me round Bishops Court Talk soon Joz
  11. Lmao be afraid of Gaz, very afraid lol. Pineapple at its finest... Anyway, the limit is your imagination for all things front and rear lip wise, and having a decent and flexible bodyshop is also the key too. The majority of lips and bumpers etc can be made to fit. You will find the bodyparts off the glanza will be very subtle for the starlet n/a so an ideal route if you want your starlet to be kitted but not too in your face or boy racerish. Its all about what you want. These parts come and go so keep your eyes out mate. The model of your starlet is called an ep91. Joz
  12. Its most probably a weekend lol but sounds awesome. Get in touch with Martin J Kent as he lives down south, you could hook up with him and his crew no sweat. An All Ireland UKSCI Meet! Banners the lot! Get the sat nav out Nangle! Joz
  13. Hey hey. Any weekday suits me, I work evenings from 5 - 12. Yep 7 days a week lol so weekends are out of the question unless I can get my ass back to Kilkeel for 4pm lmao. Its just my familia needs me so Im one of those workers that are part of the furniture. By all means dont think Im a party pooper because I miss the weekend meets. I want to meet up as often as possible, Im sure Phil is the same. So feel free to make a weekend meet without me, its Ok. I would make them if I could. However I can meet up in the week no sweat during the times above and can stretch to 6pm if needed. We
  14. A weekday would suit me. I wouldnt mind meeting up with Laura co on the way, Im in Kilkeel and could meet you in Downpatrick, a wee convoy maybe lol, I would much prefer that than heading out on my own plus m y sense of direction is terrible lol, it also depends where the meet will be Hopefully Dave (nordonian) can make it, but he's getting his SR back up to scratch first, at least she has a better engine now Luko will be up for this too Im sure. Im getting a few bits sorted too, but Im up for a meet for sure, u just need to book me as Im a busy guy too Joz
  15. Wild is right mate. Another reason for changing my backbox was that the baffles were finally done. You may still get that raspy noise tho, its due to the muffler design (4" can) and also lack of centrebox. Joz
  16. Good choice on the Koni Adjustables Marc. They are an ideal fast road/street setup and have the ability to adjust damping levels. A few people I know have used or are either using the koni setup. Larger and more expensive cars use Konis too. However they are not height adjustable. For the same money you can get coilovers that would allow you all the adjustability you want and arguably better handling than the konis. This is at the tradeoff of some ride comfort, however I would recommend the new version D2s that are much more suited for UK roads as they now have increased dampening levels
  17. I wouldnt think so Idrees. The drone from a 4" backbox can get pretty bad at times. Think of the standard sound deadening and your not far off from the effect it makes if you added another layer. By all means try if you can get it cheap as you seem pretty determined to keep your old backbox. Good luck Joz
  18. Congrats Keirz! Keep up the good work son! Joz
  19. The only way to quieten down things is add a centrebox mate The majority of 4" backboxes are loud and raspy on the 4efe especially with no centrebox/silencer. They do not promote much torque to be honest. If its looks your after then a smaller one may look out of place a little with the glanza bumper. I say all this mate as Ive just changed my backbox and its made the car a whole lot quieter. It used to be a 4" like yours and was pretty loud, raspy and droney so u cant hear whats being said in the car... Im pretty happy with it and the car to drive is a whole lot smoother, however I speak
  20. Spoiler looks decent Mike. Really tidies her up at the back. Just need some nice rear lenses now and maybe a rear lip of some sort or rear bumper later on. Hope to see more progress soon mate. Joz
  21. Hey Keirz Check out hardcore ep91's useful site. Has a small article on the catch tank. You gotta find it yourself lol Im not doing all the work for you but its there. If you want proper advice then try and get hold of the man himself. Try u2u him on tgtt. If you read his article you might be able to do it yourself, its not difficult. If you don't know hardcore ep91s site then you aint a starlet fanatic Joz
  22. So at weekends your name is Mandy Jay??? J z
  23. Nice photos guys. Here's one of my treasures from my old cam (r.i.p) Joz
  24. Welcome to the UKSC harry for all your serious and chilled out starlet needs lol. Enjoy your stay mate and feel at home. Feel free to get involved. Joz
