  8. Hey Zafar. Im running a low mileage 5efe (26k) with distributor in my UK starlet. It is a very nice improvement and gives you the extra 'nippyness' you seek with a healthy 10ft of added torque. Your concern about the port and polish is correct, the ports have to be matched properly (with precision) to your manifolds to enable the best possible flow and improvement. Whilst the engine is open, you asked if there is anything you can add... you can add 5efhe cams (1mm higher lift and duration with matching shims) 5efhe rods and 5efhe pistons, 5efhe valve springs. There is the option to skim

    hi

Excellent Stuff Feel free to get involved and enjoy ;) Joz
  17. Hi Bourkey Regarding the sensors, you just change them over. Like I said one is a water sensor under the dizzycap and the other I cant recall but its not difficult. Somebody will be able to pinpoint exactly where they are. You will use your old starlet exhaust mate, as the seo one will be different, will save you a lot of hassle anyway. And the rolla mani will bolt on the same as it would a 4efe and gives similar benefits, they are the same engine basically, with a 10mm taller block the main difference. Im using the rolla mani with my setup. The sensors etc are the least of your worries

  20. Like I said Bourkey, no worries mate. Always happy to share knowledge with others, its what we're all here for. Like the Dubman said, it is a worthwhile conversion in starlet n/a terms and will freshen her up a 'lil' bit with some added torque. All the best with your decision. Joz
  21. It will be fine Robert. MJ had his done in matt black and it was fine. If you are hell bent on keeping out heat then use heatproof black paint, and leave it matt or gloss it. The inlet mani does not attract 'as much' heat as other manifolds in the bay but will attract a little. The colour you paint it will not have a detrimental effect mate, but if you must use black and are worried about attracting a few more degrees of heat then heatproof paint it black, altho with heatproof paints you are limited in the colours available. If you powercoated it, the colour chart is your oyster. Hope th
