  1. Hey Kev I have a snap off boss kit myself. Its a pretty much standard length but Im sure there are different sizes you can get if you were really after one a bit thinner. There are two general purposes for using one in our EPs I find. #1 - Security #2 - Bring the wheel closer to the driver I find that it is a pretty good security measure but of course along with other forms of security. As for the feel of having the snap of boss kit I find the steering is a little too responsive and the wheel itself is not as physically stable when on the snap off compared to the oem wheel or just on the standard boss kit. For now I will persevere and keep it on for a while but I'm going to try it on the normal boss kit. When you mess about it with you have to sort the horn wires etc again can be a pain in the hole. Those are my experiences anyway Give it a try and see how you feel after a while. Joz
  2. My sincere thoughts go out to James to make a full recovery. Its a travesty to see his car like that after all the hard work but its a true and shocking indication of what can happen. The EP91 has a very bad crash rating which is the tradeoff for its power to weight ratio. Im also glad Craig is ok. Godspeed to you both.
  3. Welcome to the site jonnymac. We have lots of info in the EP Technical section. Take a look in there and you'll be sure to find some answers. Hope you enjoy the car and the site. Joz
  4. Put the anti lift kit as the next item on the list. Out of all the braces the c pillar does the least strengthening/flex reducing for the rear. It is the least essential so something to consider if you are on a budget. The more handling mods you have the harder it is to feel a difference with each new addition. Good luck finding your own ideal setup.
  5. All sorted Something dreamy Joz
  6. Please pm me or any member of the moderating team who are active and we'll be fine to change that for you. Please let us know if you want your logging in name changed too as it is separate from your on screen name. Thanks Joz
  7. Nice purchases man. Hope everything goes to plan from now on.
  8. It arrived this morning Si, many thanks for that. Its being dropped off at my bodyshop so will check the condition later. Im sure it will be 100% tho. Cheers bro.
  9. Cheers tucka. I didnt manage to take pics of the body parts so you'll all have to wait til its all sprayed and fitted ;) It got dark so the engine bay cleaning will take place tomorrow, want to fit the tc shifter kit also.
  10. No worries Ken. Check back tomorrow.
  11. Im just a good friend of his and usually get in touch by msn or email. I'll compile all his parts tonight with prices, then you will know the score. To order you simply email him with part request, payment and delivery address. If you are unsure or need to enquire in detail about parts you can email him also.
  12. Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update Exedy Racing Clutch Fitted Quaife'd Gearbox Photos (seal now acquired!) For the rest of the day will be cleaning the engine bay and painting the block. All going well she should be running real soon.
  13. Awesome additions to the red beast there guys. Rims look perfect. Lora looks much happier too ;) Thats the thing with EP tuning it takes time, but you are sure onto a winner. Keep up the nice work. B16 sounds crazy... ;)
  14. Its looking good now Jay. Thanks for your support man. Im dying to fire her up lol. Much kudos to M16Chris for all his help and services also.
  15. Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update I picked up the gearbox last night which is sorted but it still needs a drive shaft seal. Have ordered one off Sheekey. I also dropped off the other body parts to my body shop. I also needed a new timing belt pulley which I got hold of so my mechanic can now work on the aux belts. The paddle clutch has now been fitted which Im pretty happy about. The engine bay parts have been all sprayed up so will be collecting those soon. The red I used for my brake calipers have been used for the strut brace ends, radiator brackets, engine damper brackets and bmcs brackets. A metallic gold for the timing belt cover, engine damper and bmcs stopper piece. Will be interesting to see how they look in the bay. All being well the car should be running by the end of the week.
  16. Toby had some with 8j width, Im sure he'll give you some feedback on the width and offset too.
  17. Welcome to the UKSC site zurgie. Here is all the info you could ever want to know from our sister site and our site: Turboing a 4E-FE Engine Cost of Turboing 4EFE vs 4EFTE Conversion Detail of Components needed for 4EFTE Conversion My advice to you is to go for a clean 4EFTE conversion with corresponding wiring looms however it is up to you what path you wish to take if you wanted to be different or based on your time/ budget or expectations. I know you say you use the car daily however it is a small time sacrifice to have a better engine setup in the long run so I definitely wouldn't rule out the 4EFTE conversion. Even with turboing the 4EFE you are going to need some time with the car off the road. Very few members have turboed their 4EFE however once they see this thread hopefully they can give you some pointers. Don't forget insurance costs too as independent conversions are often more expensive to insure than their original counterparts. Please take the time to read those articles as they are very rich in content. Happy Reading Joz
  18. Cheers man Thanks for the support. Its just time really working against me. #Engine Running #Bodykit and other parts fitted and sprayed. #Emanage Base Tune #Gather remaining parts for ITB setup and fit them/base tune #Final Tune and RR #Track Days There's still much work to be done.
  19. Project Red EP91 5EFHE Rebuild Update Gearbox will be ready on Monday so all the magic will happen next week The giant 'C' shaped boxed has gone but its interesting contents are right here.

The shopping cart is disabled until sufficient feedback has been received. It will be announced when its enabled. Please try to be more aware of what is going on within the forum and check especially major announcements. TT Update Thanks
  21. You cant get them as a single part Adam unfortunately unlike the EP82 cups. They are part of the whole EP91 shifter unit which is ludicrous.
  22. Glad you enjoyed the blog update guys @Dub - You are very welcome man. We'll now strive to keep it up-to-date as it should be having neglected it in recent months. If you have any news please don't hesistate to send it in. Thanks
  23. Loving the new site and approach Tobs. Reminds me of wangan midnight. Its certainly an exciting new age for the prospective EP parts buyers. You deserve to do well man so all the best with the new improved venture. Hope to do business again soon just like old times friend.
  24. Simon These are not available new from Toyota as they were optional factory extras at the time of production. Hence they can only be bought second hand or as brand new or second hand replicas.
  25. Glad things are ok with you Lew Thanks Kevin, still a bit more work to be done but we'll get there Did you get a good look at the scoop, any differences? A big 'C' shaped package arrived earlier so just about to inspect it. Realistically there is a slim chance of the gearbox being ready by the weekend. So most likely I'll get it back next week.
