  1. Sam has a total for me for all the stuff sent to N.I bro. I just wanted a breakdown of it all.
  2. Thanks Sam I'd like a breakdown on that front end please I'll need all fixings including bumper and headlight clips/brackets if not already included. Would be much appreciated. The total doesnt sound too bad. Talk soon
  3. Hi Sam Did you receive my last pm regarding ordering my diff seals as I assumed they were already ordered. Talk soon Cheers
  4. You know how laid back things are on here bro Im really looking forward to it too.
  5. I have bought FTE Racing Valve Springs and a full Toyota 5EFE gasket set from Sam@ Speedvision. All of Speedvision's items come from the US. As for turbo wise I'd wait for a reply from someone who has bought one. If you are after more techical info on that particular turbo I'd email them direct on their website. Overall they provide a good service and have found they have good comms/response time. With the current us and jap exchange rates there are hardly any savings to be made anymore.
  6. He ordered these on the 26th. Today is the 1st so how can that be two weeks???
  7. Hi Kennedy To see where a members topics are search in the members tab for that member and view members topics. tsp's topics If the for sale thread isnt there then it has been deleted. The reason for this is once all items have been sold then it is closed and then deleted if moderated properly. Hope this helps.
  8. That was me he was speaking to lol. As for the location I can't say mate for obvious reasons. Somewhere in HK @GlanzaK31 - Thanks for your reply, I couldnt have put it in better words.
  9. I finished writing a full article on this so it should be published as a UKSC feature soon. There are a few more vids up for those who are interested to see.
  10. Congrats Kevin!!! You couldnt ask for a better example. Hope you have many happy years of motoring with this beast of an EP.
  11. Cheers for the support guys Its not too long a wait and I'll make sure to document all I can.
  12. Project Red EP91 Update The EP project is still very much alive and now I have a date in which I can finally get my car into my mechanics garage for the glorious work to take place and get this mountain of metal out of my office The 8th of February is when I will be leaving it in. Hopefully the red samco rad hoses arrives in time for the install. The gearbox must also be taken out to fit the LSD which I will be organising also. February will be such an eventful month
  13. Sound guys :harhar: Whichever new year it is make sure to have a good one yourselves
  14. Thats fair thinking man. I just wanted to get across what happened with me because it may be useful to others. I hope they go well for everyone, its just if they were tested they would be a real quality product even one or two before more are made.
  15. I did just mention it ste :harhar: And you are right, the characteristics of the manifold will ultimately determine the output that you are going to get from your exhaust system which is why it is important to do at least some R&D when designing one with a range of setups.
  16. Im all for this group buy but there is no point in jumping the gun and hope that just because it looks right that its going to make a difference and that your customers will be happy with it. In truth a well designed 4 branch manifold certainly will work well with a good setup and that would include a performance orientated exhaust system. I think you will be fairly limited with the stock system especially on the 4EFE but thats where testing could prove me wrong. I moved onto the 5EFE for a reason and that is the extra torque available to deal with any losses in some areas or to complement any gains in other areas. Another thing that should be noted is that 4 branch manis flow very well and its understandable that you dont want too much restriction however you also do not want a flow that is too unrestricted as that would really make you go nowhere (huge power loss) as I found when I had an OBX 4 branch and NO boxes on my 4EFE, just a tanabe backbox. A center box solved that but not as much as I hoped due to less torque provided from the 4E. For an even setup I would have decat and one silencer/midbox and a backbox. I have run this twice, with the obx and now the hotshot manifold and I think the results are the best you are going to get with just bolt ons and no tuning. An interesting note is that my exhaust system (EP82 4EFE) which I use with my 5E is decat as standard so it does tell you that there is performance potential for 4EFE with the use of a good decat system which retains a mid box.
  17. It may defeat the object with what Lewis said however only testing will be able to determine if it will be effective along with some before and after dyno runs. I would seriously get some test units made before everyone piles in their hard earned. Im just going with my past experiences that when changing to a 4 branch manifold you have to lose something to gain something else, it is very difficult to get the best of both worlds. Bolt ons do not always work as intended. Im sure starbus is a very good fabricator but its just more customer friendly to at least do some testing and a few tweaks with the product before it is released to the masses otherwise its mainly guesswork. Look at all the EP traders, they seriously test out their products no matter large or small. Its the same as making an FTE manifold and just selling it as is. But seriously all the best with this and I hope you guys get what pay for because it will be good to see more n/a owners explore more possibilities.
  18. Cheers bro Just the customary chinese new year dinner with everyone.
  19. Just want to say Gung Hei Fat Choi to all the guys and gals on UKSC That includes Shelly, Tony, Albert and Eric and anyone else I missed Hope everything is prosperous for everyone this new year and that you stick to your newer resolutions! Don't get too and spend your laycee wisely (like on the EP)
  20. Congrats on the MOT pass Kara Hope you have another happy year of EP motoring. Keep the posts on topic please people
  21. Nice to see a decent update Nath Things certainly seem to be moving better now that you've cleared out the garage. Keep it up mate. Not too long now!
  22. Nice Work Craig. The final speeds look really great on your EP. Keep it up.
  23. Are you still on standard suspension Jimmy? If so then you will have no control over the hardness of your rear suspension. If on standard, to remedy the slidy tail end invest in a rear strut brace and rear anti roll bar. That WILL sort out the problem and make the rear much more sturdier. If on aftermarket shocks and springs or coilovers they may have damping adjustment on them which you can set to be a bit softer. Please tell us more about your current setup, then we will be able to help you more.
  24. ^^ Who knows... Idrees a decent 5E build is going to cost you more than 1k mate don't be deceived. You've felt the power of the FTE in various EPs so I think it will be well worth the wait and a much better bang for buck investment and near unlimited potential. The FTE will need more maintenance but it is more practical than a higher powered na which needs hard driving to get the best out of it. I wouldn't waste your money on anything else. I don't think you'd enjoy the flat out driving that is involved with a highly tuned 5E n/a EP which is something I have to go through. Its not that fun on the street which is why Im taking it on track for flat out driving and response. That is its purpose, as a road car it would be wasted. You know Im going through a full n/a build so why not ask me especially with the tuning and headwork etc? You do have to have a bit of madness about you tho As much as I love my na I will have FTE power in some form of EP later down the line, but Im taking my 5E (soon to be 5EFHE-ITB) as far as it can go and will always have an n/a weapon to call upon. Hope that gives you some more insight into your possibilities. Talk soon
  25. Really sorry to see this babynikzs, luckily you are not physically hurt Hope that you get her ship shape again real soon and catch the ****** that did this. I'd replace the whole door but that rear quarter panel might not be handy. All the best.
