well it would be on finance or something so no more than 15k ideally and not brand new just very nearly new lol so i dont lose 4 grand instantly driving it off the manufacturers forecourt. ive heard the new scoobs are a bit of a let down compared to previous generations? ohh tell me more about the fiesta RS and the yaris? which model yaris? adamB i could have driven a few others, but i instantly dismissed both the punto abarth and kia ceed GT as having bad names/reputations...was this too hasty then?

Well guys I'm gonna hit the big 30 this year and I've decided to treat myself to a new motor. Has anyone got any experience with, or owned a Pug 208 gti, Fiesta ST180 or the latest Corsa VXR? Thought the Peugeot and Fiesta were great but the Corsa was also very nice to drive and much quicker than the others in stock form anyway. But then again the peugeot has epic handling and I see the Ford seems a lot more tuneable than the others with Mountune kits etc and the ecoboost engine can take a lot of abuse so maybe I need to have a drive of an ST with the 215 or 230 kit on it before jumping the gun. The VXR is a little beast though. So nice to drive a car thats quick but also refined and not a pain in the arse like a starlet can be lol. Thoughts anyone...before i spunk my dosh on one of these bad boys?

all i can think of when i look at that car is that crazy russian surgeon thats gna attempt the first ever head transplant later this year...

no cheek intended, ive owned a few high hp starlets so i understand what goes into them. but yeah i guess breaking is the only way to get that kinda dosh back

hey guys im having an attack of the starlet bug - bad. drove one today and it was like shagging an ex girlfriend. seriously though, what do you guys think about fresh imports and the high values of them? ive had my fun drag racing etc with a forged 270bhp one in the past and now i just want a nice fresh clean example to get up to about 200bhp but keep looking as stock as possible. the one ive found is a 1998 facelift model in white with 64k miles. fresh import, very clean underneath and engine bay. totally standard. high/low boost button still functional lol. its very very clean and drives beautifully, but the price is £5500 which seems a lot. am i just being a tight fisted wanker?

i wouldnt go cutting stuff up mate. keep it below 1 liter and get it up to 200bhp. that would be insane with its weight and 4wd
