Most of what I hear about Pulsars is from owners/previous owners. I don't listen to people who havent ever had one, cause they go by what they hear! My bloke has an Evo 3, so I know how much they cost to run. Certainly not cheap, but something I would rather have and waste money on over a Pulsar.

I would imagine because the main reason she crashed was because the roads were slippery! Glad your mum's ok though mate!

Nice car! I don't think there is any way of getting a genuine history without paying mate. But it is possible to only have that mileage, each owner may not of used it much. It could of been sold on every 2 months, you never know! I would email the person and ask them some info on the car, ask if its ever had a new engine or anything.

That reminds me of the Volvo advert, where it asks if Cameras are there to spy on us or protect us! The problem they have is that too many times will people be accused of doing something that they haven't and then people will start trying to claim harrasment of something. I went into a shop with my aunts, nan and mum the other week. And we were standing around waiting for my cousin in the changing rooms. A security guard tried to accuse us of stealing! Just because the camera's assumed we were loitering!

I was looking at swapping my Glanza with my mates Pulsar a few months ago, but decided against it after reading peoples comments on them. And then the fact I need the car every day and it would cost so much for fuel! But I love the cars, and my friend had one which was bloody quick and he never had any issues with it at all and he had it for 1.5years. But knowing my luck, it would brake in a week! I didnt have the money to spend on keep fixing one if it did go wrong. Im looking at getting an Evo 5 now, next year some time. The insurance on a Pulsar GTiR for me was £600 fully comp, 21 with 3ncb. Evo 2 or 3 was £1800! Evo 5 will be £900 as of January. I suppose you need to look at whether you would have spare cash to spend on fixing things like the gear box if it did go wrong. A Starlet is definatly alot cheap to run and tax etc.

Man flu hey! The worst kind to have too! Taking 2 Paracetamol and 2 brofen is fine! When ever I have a head ache I always take 2 of each. As long as its only every 4 hours. But what Asad said is the best thing I have ever done to shake the flu - putting some vicks in a bowl of hot water, put a towl over your head and breath in the stream! Just don't put too much vicks in! It helped clear my nose and made me feel 10 times better! Other than that, get in a nice hot bath and plenty of food and fluids! Hope ya better soon x

Just been looking up on the laws of using mobiles whilst driving and came across this little fact: "Any cases that reach court could involve discretionary disqualification and a maximum fine of £1,000" I wouldn't bother taking any further mate!

Thats shit mate! But as said, the law is that you arent allowed to even touch the phone unless you are pulled over and stopped. I think its stupid but what can you do! Before long people won't even be allowed to have stereos or sat navs!

Mine was good driving in it the other day! Just take it slow, and dont rev high. It is horrible driving in the snow, but its always best to do it to get the practice!
