I personally am a fan of AWD! But then I am biast because my partner has an evo 3. I've not come across any rwd's that can put power down better than his AWD, but then I suppose it depends on the driver too. He has raced many rwd's and fwd's and not any could keep with his launches. Maybe its just because he has spent stupid money on it. Im not a fan of rwd for straight line power, but defo a fan for those lovely windy roads.

Not with police over 'boy-racers' it's not. Its guilty until you waste your time proving otherwise! I suppose really, the first thing he needs to do is pop into the local police station and ask them the rules on it.

I thought they had something in the cars that could test it? Maybe not. I know that MOT stations test them, so maybe a good idea to pop to one to get them to test it and if its under then take it to the police station and prove them wrong. Dont get ya hopes up too much though, it will prob be hard to prove either way.

From what I know, you would of noticed it straight away if it had caused any problems. My friend went through a mega puddle, and instead of putting down on the clutch and slowly going through it, he put his foot down. Within minutes his car was sitting on the side of the road with a fooked engine!!

Sounds a bit of a tough one that! Im surprised if your exhaust really isn't that loud, that he would do you for excessive noise. Especially if he didn't test the exhaust. From what I have heard, they have to test it there and then. And can only fine you if it's proven that your exhaust is too loud. But this is only what I have heard. My partners evo3 is loud, and his neighbours complained so much about it that the council called in the police to come and check it. The police checked it and said that it was way under the limit. If your car is louder than his evo 3 then I would be surprise

No offence but Tegs and Supra's are in completley different leagues to each other! Supra's are shite I think personally, having all that power in a RWD is pointless. They just don't put the power down enough. Teg's are ok, but I would personally rather do the hybrid on an 82. Teg's are nice to drive, and a Type R will be nippy but I dont think you would enjoy it as much as the Hybrid!

Its been raining here a few days this week, but it's normally not too bad. It never rains in excessively as such. Just bloody cold more than anything. Im hoping it doesnt rain for my fireworks tomorrow. Not that that stops my family!
