Got nearly all of the bits I need for the ABS brake removal, one pipe missing Head out and at Dartford rebore, hopefully it will all be good after that's done been told to get a new headgasket which pisses me off as it hasn't been used yet grr! Well except for it trying to be turned over suppose it has been compressed tho with the head bolts

  6. are u gna use a solenoid or have the ecu programmed to open it up?
  7. Where are u based? no one made them as such for the 5e - u could maybe use the high lift 5e-fhe cams if you can find some, most others are designed more for the turbo As for profiling, maybe somewhere like Kent cams

  11. I've got a guy coming to look at it with me on saturday to see if I've forgotten anything obvious and if not removing the head for skimming
  12. You're mean (but I love you lol), I know but I've had enough there's other issues i can't be arsed with and this would be the straw that broke the dromedaries spine
  13. thanks wallace and shorty got a local mech gonna take a look hopefully but if it means engine out dunno if i can be arsed with all the faff, head off is one thing Si(gh)
  14. it wasnt the hg that failed man it was the head bolts that stretched originally, i know your prob right tho matey
  15. its def coming from underneath the head man - all the other seals are holding up fine, I checked all the channels for flow on the headgasket none were blocked
