Equal Length Intake Compared to ACIS Manifold
Asad replied to Omar's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
May be gains but tbh Id say it's better suited for a bigger turbo with a nice rev range + cams AND you'll need to have a mappable ecu to get gains from it with alot of time on dyno finding the sweet spot -
difference between uk spec starlet sr and jdm spec starlet s
Asad replied to a topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
What gear was each car? Both stripped out? Mods to the uk spec? Jdm spec? -
Ive done 500miles on mine will be turning them all 5 clicks from soft today, tyre pressure is 34 all the way round toe has been set to zero and camber is -1......gonna go have some fun later
-
Hopefully going for a "cheap" wheel alignment today driverside wheel has some negative camber causing tyre wear and the steering wheel is wonky im going for -1 camber and 0 toe this time round

Might be an earth problem with sensor?

That's the one would love a group buy on them
-
your probably best off going for the ebay one, not many around + most will be chipped anyway
-
plug it in and go for a rag, dont see how letting it idle will help even the slightest waste of time/fuel
-
so would +0.0 be best? which camber setting will be best -1.5 or -1?
-
Just a quick update the actual fitting time was around 2 hours as for alignment settings im thinking of going -1.5 camber OR -1 camber +0.5 toe max positive camber Will be fitting the ALK asap possible pan hard rod

just goes to show how many people just throw money at power first instead of correcting/improving handling first cut it off and I'll be doing the same when I fit mine bro

iirc it was 55mm do a search its in one of my old posts here http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....557&hl=7AFE a way to get around the pipe issue would be to use the later corolla power steering pump i think? these are the lines and idle up valve sorry to go off topic
-
only thing you`ll be able to fit is the throttle body, apart from that the inlet/exhaust manifold is totally different......it is a direct fit i did a side by side comparison between an avensis and my N/A just to add, there are issues with the powersteering vac lines more to point the lack of....something to do with a idle up valve which can be fixed but theres more hastle imo just get a FTE throttle body

My guess is it would still distort the shape of the bush
