-
did you replace the stat or "test" it? replace it and see how it goes
-
Just get one there cheap as, see if it plays nicely with the car if not get EBC
-
i wouldn`t go for another engine, interestingly ALL of them are "low mileage" "strong" "working before removed" = bullshit 90% of the time get yours to a decent engine builder and get it sorted that way, get the lad to cover some costs for the rings etc and you pay extra and get the bottom end done that way you`ll have a solid engine for time to come
-
won this on ebay, now seller says gearbox has gone

As above, avoid the car being relisted he let it go cheap his mistake......dont accept any bull go get it! give him a slap too just for being a nub -

Every car will benefit from a catch can, i made a shitty DIY one and still managed to catch loads of oil on my N/A

You have KU31`s on that back? get some on the front lush tyres! geo is probably why you dont feel your getting the best from the mods you have theres not alot else apart from what amjads mentioned, to bring the EP up to scratch with likes of hondas
-
no need for the fuel pump unless your going over 200 (alot of peeps go anal as if its a must need item...not really) boost gauge? wouldnt 2.5" be big for the CT9?
-
IMO do anything dodgy and they will try and pin it all on you just as a quick way out save themselves hastle Strip the shit out of it, take what ever you can yet leave it driveable and see what happens..........worse comes to worse you loose the shell + running gear......or get to keep it all = happy days. chase the previous seller down if it was reported stolen 3 days after you bought it its obviously his doing, try and get the full story even speak to his mum she must know something mabe the company he works for? If you have the adress just go round to the house or w/e you picked it up

-
common fault with the tte springs, any other set you get will be same only a matter of time before they break....invest in some new springs like tein
-
water,volts,wideband,boost, oil temp

Defo wouldnt be using it in a forged lump nor would i use it in a modified FTE......stock mabe but who has a stock FTE? I use VWs own quantum oil 10w40 for my N/A no point in throwing money away at it. using something like a fully synt will increase your service interval times = save you money and be better for your engine dont take my advice for it read what the expert says..... http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...highlight=ester http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...highlight=ester
