Need the hook you used to lift the engine out with that attaches at the front, and could do with it for Saturday. Anyone local to Sheffield have one I can either buy, or borrow for a few days? Cheers

Good point, did TRL make any suggestions as to what was causing the issue? -
Bad Feedback for Will @ Race Dyno Tuning, Doncaster

I think it's prudent of mappers to lock their work, doesn't take a rocket scientist to go in, mess things up, and then say, "Well, so and so mapped it, and now it's fucked, must be their fault!". My ECU was locked by Will, just recently I asked for it to be unlocked (over 12 months after he did the work), and he was accommodating. Given the problems I've had just recently with head gaskets, I never actually got around to getting it unlocked, but the option was there. Will appears to have done a great job with my car, and that was backed up when the head was removed, a more clued up frien -
OK.. Unless someone wants the whole lot between now and when Charlotte leaves Hull for the turbo, the manifold and downpipe are available separate.

Turbo is fine, no smoke what so ever.

- Tongs Hybrid with adjustable Actuator - £250 - Zisco CT9 Ram Horn Manifold - £150 - Zisco CT9 Downpipe with Gearbox brace - £50 Or the whole lot for £400(Preferred) All the above is in used, but fully working order. The CT9 can be rotated back to it's original orientation and I have the actuator bracket for that. I'd prefer it all collected at once, and given cash, but I can post if necessary I guess it would be around £20 for it all. I'm in Sheffield If I can sell the turbo on its own, then I'll split it all out.

http://mearcatmini.blogspot.co.uk/ Not mine, but someone doing something similar. I'd say that's quite the project, and you might be in for quite the invoice if you can't carry out the work for yourself.

Who built the engine, when and how many miles ago?

The battery box just looks like a storage type box you would buy from B&Q, that battery is ginormous as well!!

Will soon have the following up for grabs.. - Tongs Hybrid with adjustable Actuator - £250 - Zisco CT9 Ram Horn Manifold - £150 - Zisco CT9 Downpipe with Gearbox brace - £50 - Custom RW Developments short route pipe for rotated CT9 - £50 - Unknown FMIC kit - £50 Or the whole lot for £500 Not really sure what they could be worth, I've put possible prices next to each item, what do you think?
-
Figured this would be it.. The L brackets used for the plastic windows make my inner perfectionist cry!
-
ARP Didn't re-torque.

I'm likely to blame, perhaps I made a mistake assembling. Perhaps the block that I checked as being flat isn't flat? Engine stills runs, albeit on two cylinders. Cams appear to be in one piece, there isn't any blow by to speak of either. Place your bets now..

I broke it.. My car survived a dozen laps before ceasing to cooperate. Something let go at around 7000 rpm in third and I now have the following compression results 150 150 0 0 Gasket? Bent valve(s)? Taking the head off on Saturday to find out for sure.

Looks fine under there to me, like a car that's used should look!
