  10. Also went today, stayed for 3 hours. Feel sorry for the people who travelled miles, spoke to one chap on the Honda section he travelled from Ireland. I had a 250 mile round trip & think it was a waste of journey and £15. Nice cars there mind but the location, soo remote & deserted. Not surprised there wasnt a GREAT turn out. Weather was finee. All in all had to make a day out of it. Hope you campers have a good time, im sure thats where the funs at!! Some people there were smashed! Lol
  11. The Strood is covered with sea water and becomes unpassable for around an hour. Is that true or a load of bollox?
  12. I will be arriving on saturday and departing on saturday. Seeing that spaces are limited i might possibly come in my Corolla.

    Rear disc

Done a search but no luck on this. Rear disc & pads come this morning for my 1998 Glanza, genuine parts. I am trying to determine the difference between ABS and Non ABS on rear discs. I am pretty certain my order is right but is there a way to physically tell a ABS disc to a Non ABS. Also is there a write-up anywhere on changing rear discs and pads, already looked in 'braking' under technical section, no luck. Thanks in advance.

    HID'S

I got my HID kit from ebay, its a 1998 corrola by the way. The kit/bulbs do not come with projectors, projectors come with the light housings but as they are standard halogen bulbs they will not come with HID projectors. Many people retro-fit stock headlights to fit projectors. Here is a link with a diagram to show variety of kelvin's: http://www.speedstersource.com/2004MOMO/HID_FAQ.htm Below is a picture of how a HID light looks with projectors:

    HID'S

I am currently running a H4 HID kit in my Corolla. It is 5000kelvin resulting in a clear white colour with the slightest tint of blue. I am happy with them & make an immense difference compared to halogen bulbs. Lighting at night is improved including sign posts. Yes its true, without having HID lights in projectors lighting is scattered everywhere resulting in dazzling oncoming users and others who might be effected. Hope this helps.
  19. Ouch! So once the springretainer popped on you did you carry on using the car resulting in the entire handle comming off? I was thinking about leaving it for now if its an ANNOYING job. Picture attached
  20. Cheers mate. I will also try to get a picture to show the problem.
  21. The plastic clip has not broken off. The compression on the spring has been released when i opened the door over the weekend. I need to attach the spring back onto door handle housing, is it a matter of sticking in a screw drvier to ping it back in?
  22. I have just encountered this problem. Anyway in fixing the tension spring from outside without removing the door card?? Thanks in advance
  23. I must say to this day i have not seen many chavs driving turbos. Not down my way anyway. Most have naturally aspirated corsa's
