  1. Went to a stag do in Edale in the Peaks yesterday, so thought it would be rude not to sample some of the epic roads en route. Sadly it was very hazy and when I got to Wynatts pass the sun was in the wrong place but got a pic or two
  2. I might use opentrack for the next Blyton day I arrange, I might also message them about a group buy Not sure if I would use Javelin again, although they were professional with the day they arranged for me, Mike at Apex told me they had slagged me off to him due to us using Apex and putting the prices low, that we were trying to become a small time trackday company! But I can only go on what I was told from Apex
  3. You got all four? They should rake in some cash on ebay I bet, the only worry is that not all track day companies/tracks will allow you to run full slicks without a cage
  4. I might be into that kinky shit, could get me going, then we can talk about what pops up
  5. Feel free, I will be over to the stand on the Friday night. And I wasn't joking when I said come sit on my knee, ask Josh about last year
  6. I won't be at japfest, but feel free to come sit on my knee at JAE and tell me all about it I haven't got proof it was or wasn't sabotaged and I never said it's fact that it wasn't. What I was saying is that it was stated "it was sabotaged after Enzo tried to bring it back. And it is an almost dead forum now because of it. Facts." Well no, it isn't facts, it's opinion!
  7. Well you are digging things up AND you aren't stating facts at all, you are stating what you have been told. Yes some data was cloned, I don't think anyone contests that, but it was NEVER sabotaged. As proven several times with the fact it is up and down like a yoyo, it was badly maintaned and it is the same errors that happened before anyone else was involved. Unless you have logs to show the sabotage, then it is not FACT and can be taken as slanderous
  8. Nilfisk is your best option, plus they use (or they did) brass pumps rather than the plastic shite in Karcher ones that crack in winter if still wet
  9. Your mum and dad going again this year Nick?
  10. And the honey JD, and the random red shots stuff, and beers and a lot of vodka jellies!
  11. Not sure you can be trusted with our bag of spirits again after last year
  12. Will be with the Ninjas again, but expect me over on the Fri night as per last year (I might bring jellies again....) You got the same plot?
  13. Personally I am not a fan of a specific wheel sealant. I have always just used normal waxes or sealants and they do a fantastic job. Maybe go for something like Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid, does a cracking job
  14. You clearly haven't driven a citreon ZX, a MK1 Clio or a MK4 gold TDi in anger. Plus a well setup Starlet can handle really well, ask some of the guys that take them on track. And by the springs I was meaning how you get different spring rates or whatever they are to allow for the weight of the car (for ex, a MK4 golf set's springs on a 1.6 will be different to the TDI most likely because of the weight) You might be going faster, but are you comparing to standard spings or did you already have lowering springs? Just wondering out of pure interest, if it all works then fantastic idea
  15. I assume these are just for looks as on VAGs they aren't the best known for handling/ride. The other issue is, what is the weight difference between the two cars? Won't the spring loads etc be setup for the heavier car
  16. I bought the prestige version so that I got the season pass etc, but in all honesty, I am not getting the use out of it. I have little stints now and then, but it hasn't got me hooked like other CODS.
  17. Maybe late September to keep costs down, not sure yet, depends when I have time to start ringing round. I should be able to fill the spaces easily enough, so it will all come down to cost
  18. If I was to arrange Blyton it would be open to all cars as there is no way I could get 40 starlets there. I agree on Blyton being a great track, but having just seen the new layout, it looks even better:
  19. The idea was that it could be a starlet only day, I could have filled the spaces pretty easily from Track-Ninjas, but I was asked about just a Starlet day. Having just seen the new layout for Blyton I think I will be sorting a day there soon
  20. You need to get out on a proper trackday Nick
  21. As above, not really had the definate numbers to make it worth while sadly, maybe something to look at for later in the year
  22. I downloaded a demo of Arma2 last night to see how that runs. I did a check online and it passed the minimum required spec, but I am still not sure it will
  23. Hmmm might have to have a look then. It runs a Geforce 310m 512mb ddr3 graphics chip, plus is a decent spec ultra book, but might have to do some more research
  24. Well anticipated there, I was expecting comments to that tune! You need another Hou Hug?
