Hou replied to PaulStarletSR's topic in Off Topic
All the more reason for people to keep them standard -
Yeah, the Fri is the 5th lol, so Zombie on the 5th, playing on the 6th! If you are playing when I zombie you need to show me what you look like.................to make sure you get infected!!
-
Leeds, I am being a Zombie on the Fri, and playing on the Sat! Played Leeds last year and it was amazing!
-
Well, just to let you guys know, I am a qualified zombie (got the certificate and everything to prove it) Did the zombie school for www.2.8hourslater.com meaning that 2 weeks on Friday I will be searching for brains around the centre of Leeds
-
Fag-tastic!
-
Welcome back dude, looking good ;)
-
Could be a good suggestion, although I think all extra funds go towards increasing show presence in the form of banners/genny/lighting etc
-
Also in Leeds, but haven't had a starlet in years. Where in Leeds are you?
-
You might also get more interest listing the games, and maybe dropping the price as these are £99.99 delivered from Game I am sorry to say
-
A little heads up for those with tesco clubcards, they are currently doing tickets for £8.50 of clubcard points!
-
Yeah, will be sure to say hi dude. You are more than welcome to convoy down with us if you want
-
Plans for meeting up and convoy: Old Post Office M1 J38 - 5.50am - 6am McD's M1 J29a - 6.30am - 6.45am (To get a quick coffee and maybe breakfast) Arrive at Mallory Park 7.45am If needed we can stop in at another services if they are out of your way dude
-
Yeah ours came last week too. I cannot wait to see all of our guys out on track, we even got some autotest tickets
-
Get some part worns. Most people get to the legal road limit and get rid, but they are perfect for track use. Either R888s or A048s (I might have 2 up for sale soon) are cheap enough

The big issue with fixing harnesses to rear seat belt points is that in a front end crash, you risk badly damaging your spine because you, the seat and the harness can/do pivot forwards & down (think what would happen if a flimsy fibreglass seat back snapped!). MSA (Blue Book, Part K) say that the rear harness straps are prefered at an angle of +/- 10 degrees from horizontal, down to a max of 45 degrees. So your car would be unlikely to pass scrutineering if you mount to the rear seat belt points anyway, and you won't get to a nice shallow angle without a harness bar. A poorly fitted harne

The spacing of the arches is an easy mod. Lots of Teg owners do this to aid the airflow around the front wheels, just using some spacers like you would the bonnet

Towing / Trailering your Starlet. Tow strap position?!
Hou replied to Arnold's topic in Lifestyle General
It wouldn't be very good on an EP82, it is rather flimsy there. When I got bumped into we straightened it by hand -
Agreed, I met loads of awesome people from here on the Friday night but cannot for the life of me remember half of you I will make sure I bring plenty of jellies this year and actually share them out
-
I am aiming to not be as hammered when i stumble over to your pitch..................who am I kidding, I will be as leathered as I am at every JAE
-
Yeah that is good thinking, should hopefully be ok
-
The only issue I would have with your spot is dust. Last year the cars on the front were covered in it from the gravel road

-
Just seen your pitch location, cracking area which will certainly get you noticed! Who's for vodka jellies this year?
