This is a valid point cause type r's seem too get written off more than anything, i know of a fair few ep civics that have been written off because the drivers pushed too hard, they have a fine line between going round a corner fast and crashing, a very rewarding drivers car but you gotta be a good driver too drive them properly.

Problem.with ep3's now is theyve done loads of miles and theyve all been thrashed to death, and imo there exspensive too modify and when they go wrong exspensive too repair ! Jack sold his basic engine with no mods that had done 90k for £800 ! Can get a good running 4efte for £250.

They can be reliable i drove mine hard every where and its done 110k miles on its original engine which was running .9 bar on td04 @ 210bhp when it died.

Jacks glanza's alot quicker in a straight line but dont handle anywhere near as well as his type-r did and tbf to the glanza hes had some shit luck with it, i wouldnt say its been unreliable like blowing stuff up just trivial stuff that would only happen too Jack hahaha.

If your a bit tight for money you can go fuel cut defender and risinig rate fuel pressure regulator and get it setup on a dyno, will see 180+ but the emanage would be nicer too drive and safer.

Depends how much you wanna spend tbh pal, to see 180+ id get an aiffilter relocation and get emanage blue and map too a bar should see a good reliable 180 +

Guy from zisco was sayin theyve had a customers car runnin 280 on standard internals for over a year now, it is risky running a fcd cause you dont have the same control as an ecu but if mapped properly i cant see there bien any problems, theres just not many mappers in the uk that are good enuff or willing too map the car too such power on a standard engine.

Guys in malta run 280 on stock internals quite often ask the guys at zisco
