  1. I spotted that black one in town last night dumping its tits off again outside bar centro
  2. They are pretty much essential if you want to run anything more than stock boost. Manual boost controllers are cheaper but you have less control. On an electronic you have two settings to play with. 'Duty' and 'Gain'. The duty is how much boost and the gain determines how strong that boost comes on. When setting one up its best to start low, ideally at wastegate pressure then slowly rise the duty up. Just be weary with the cold weather coming it so you don't over boost. These turbo cars love the chilly air
  3. Could well be the same one I spotted in my local village the other week dumping its tits off
  4. Right, I'll have a guess mines set to a safe 1.3 bar then
  5. Right, that's strange then because I hit mine tonight booting it from 3rd. This was in the GT4 though not the starlet. It sure felt like fuel cut. Looked at the boost controller and it peaked at 1.33 @ 5125. Stock cut is at 1.2/1.3 on those so wondering if the units had a fuel cut feature or when piggybacked didn't always blank out the factory ECU setting.
  6. Do these units have a fuel / boost cut setting like the stock ECU's?
  7. Blitz ECU for sale on TGGT mate: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?101436-Blitz-Access-ECU-For-EP82
  8. I never have this problem on the Starlet because it never goes to a Garage and I do all the work myself. The Celica on the other hand, that only goes back to the garage after I've broken something on a track day
  9. Spotted this one just coming out of the white hart the other night dumping its tits off behind me. I was in the Celica. Anyone's off here?
