  1. That must have been overtightened for that to strip out. It is a bit of a bugger to get to. Never had any issues with that particular bolt before. Mini mole grips may grab it?
  2. I don't think I've seen that about but I have heard of a black EP that's pretty nippy in town. That must be it?
  3. I'll be there but I'm going with the GT4 boys. Should see a few of you guys on track though!
  4. I've sorted the rattle. One very strong industrial cable tie on the inner hanger mount to hold it up a bit stiffer has done the trick! Maybe Japspeed should pack cable ties into their systems in the future
  5. Could be the rocker cover gasket?
  6. He's talking shit about the TD04, power output and more than likely forged pistons! I'd check if it has a JAM ECU to, have a look under the drivers footwell to the left and you will see the ECU. Has it a boost controller fitted?
  7. It's places like that we should let that Swedish nut case loose with his bag of toys.
  8. For the little gain you will get and safety all round of the motor why not get an eManage Blue, map it and your sorted.
  9. It's dropped by about 35mm. Ride comfort is very good to be honest, its been back on the road this week after a year and a half off. Makes my GT4 seem like stone suspension
  10. This is mine lowered on Apex springs:
  11. Yeah don't get one, they are slow.
  12. That video's been around for years! I think HRF closed down a while ago to.
  13. One of the shocks may well have blown. I'm not sure on what D2 use in their coilovers but I'm sure you can drop a new insert in there.
  14. I've never been pulled over in any car ever. Only time I had was the Police asking me if they had seen a car with three lads who had been out and about doing no good. I had a mate, his missus and their little lad in the car. I guess they thought we were the folk they were looking for until they spotted the 2 year old in the baby seat 'ah, baby.......have a good evening' ran off and went naughty boy hunting.
  15. Having seem some of the bodge jobs to get these things to not rattle I'd never get a Japspeed system again. For that price though, worth it for a bit of bodging.
  16. I say! Tally Ho! Bloody hooligans with to much money thrashing around in supercars! You don't get that in the local Tesco car park around here I'd love to go down there in a banged out sleeper and put all their cars to shame, that would be funny
  17. I may pop along in the EP for this one
  18. I've used Parcelforce before to send EP82 bumpers. Never had any issues.
  19. Knocks and rattles just get on my tits, especially with the state of the roads around here. Might try the trusty cable tie approach or see about taking it to a specialist to modify it so its fits better.
  20. I managed to get a cheap Japspeed system last year to replace my old system as it kept knocking on the rear axle. The Japspeed system does the same thing but worse, I don't know if its because they are poorly made but there are a few Starlets out there with this system so they can't fit that bad? It's on the rear section with the backbox, the loop over the rear axle just knocks on the frame with the slightest wobble. Bloody annoying! It's been off the road for a year and a bit and just got fresh MOT on it today so I had not a chance to road test it before today. Anyone had issues with these systems on EP82's and made a solution for it? Just need to tax it Monday and we have another EP back on the road
  21. He's a good guy Rob I've bought a few bits and bobs off him in the past.
  22. I might have mine back on the road by then, if not it would be good for a little local gathering in any case
  23. 'Fast Car Approved Club' Says it all!
  24. A very old video from a night out years back.....a few ales may have been involved />https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtFiEaTK4rw
  25. It could well be a leaky Rocker seal. Even if its tightened down correctly any slight gap can cause it to weep out a little. I'd clean up the area and take it out to see where its coming from. You can get dye to put in the oil which will show up under UV light to see where the leak is.
