  1. Some people have no shame ;) I've got a V8 Chevy powered 1.3 GT Turbo you know........................... Obvious he would get caught out sooner or later, no doubt he's just trying to show off and brag about things he aint got. Which is a bit silly
  2. Well, to be honest. If you have the standard starlet backbox on there its just a case of removing the old box and bolting that one in its place using the clamps that came off the old one. Thats what I did, just a stright swap over, no probs at all. £100 to have it fitted? Way overpriced. The rear pipe on that box is the same as the standard one so it will fit onto the rest of the system perfect. It really is a case of just taking the old box off, its clamped on exactly the same and putting the new on with the clamps and things that are used on the standard one. Thats what I did fo
  3. Good to see another member from notts on here. I thought I were the only one! Welcome to the club!
  4. Same here, mine satys at whatever level it is weather the ignition is on or not.
  5. Aye the twin rear system at the back are the later 182 models I think. No difference in performance between the 172 and 182. Very fun cars to drive.
  6. Very probable he was usi8ng a higher gear as gear for gear a 172 standard sport would beat a glanza. Mayby he was just not a very good driver or he put a Renault Sport badge on a normal clio. A tuned 172 flies like fuck to. They kick out around 175BHP from standard I believe. Who knows what the clio you were racing against was doing but top marks on that Glanza for showing him up
  7. Just makes you want to go out and buy a Glanza!
  8. Have you tried getting in contact with the alloy maker as you can order the spigot rings directly from them for your car / alloy set up. I'd not put the wheels on without the rings to be honest.
  9. I've seena set up on Ebay for sale. I dont think they fit the car that well thought
  10. Did you buy the one that was up on E-bay not so long ago then? That sounds like a monster.
  11. Girlfreinds come and go. Get rid of her for a month That would probably be a bit bad, you'll just have to see if she wants to watch the game with you.
  12. Spotted that on the site yesterday and its a monster. That engine bay looks very nice.
  13. I'm due to slap on some very nice 16" OZ alloys on my little 5 door machine. Putting them on as it is will result it in being a little to high so I'm wondering what springs to put on to drop it a little. So far I've found these that are made for EP91's: http://www.funkystyling.co.uk/item.php?car...atTypeNumber=65 Reckon they would do the job?
  14. Must be someone. On the subject of spotting I keep seeing one roll around Mansfield. Black EP82 with blacked out windows.
  15. Thats not the geezer who sold you the speeline alloys is it? I'm i the Chesterfield area.
  16. I agree, I;d rarther get a fresh import than a car allready run around in the UK. For a tidy looking GT with under 50K on the clock its around £3000 mayby a little less. A Glanza's in the region of £4000 to £6000 for a decent one. I plan on getting one come the end of the year. Fresh import is my tip though.
  17. The page dont work so... NO DEAL!
  18. What rims are you running on it, they are really nice. Good looking motor.
  19. I had a look at the importers page who sold that and wonder who had bought it It looks a very nice EP92, very clean looking, I do like the white ones.
  20. Looks to good to be true. "here is no charge for membership and the cards will be issued free." How do they make a profit from these cards is the question I raise?
  21. Whatever the power its a nice tidy looking GT
