a tatty white box arrived this morning: which then revealed: Brand New SCAT Forged Conrods w/ARP 2000 Rod Bolts there expensive new, the only reason i bought it because i got a bargain... £160 good ole ebay! my mate who works for rilmac is porting and gasflowing a spare manifold ive got so i can safely run at 1bar again and get my top end revvyness back still more to come out of this yet, alot more also, my front brakes are down to metal so a brake upgrade might be on the cards! Watch this space

you can see the brace between the turbo and head flanges in the picture on the jperformance site... NOT the same manifold guys!

the one in the link to TM developments website is for a "toyosports" manifold. it isnt braced and if u look at my project thread, it'll fall apart! the jperformance ones are braced and ro55fumi and SteveGT have had no problems!

totally depends on the room in the bay, as a td05 isnt a small setup... if room is tight mate go with a ct12 there capable of 200horses at less then 1bar.

ah so it cud do with just keep goin till it goes thru? it obv wont blow threw the threads of the studs? how far would u say the flange studs go into the manifold? 10-12mm? 15mm?? Cheers Matt

no... read... im running a stock manifold atm... and i got my spare stock manifold ported and gasflowed like the pics above. im asking anyone whos got any exprience wheter it looks like it'd be safe to run at 1bar on a stock block...

If anyones seen my project thread, i got a shite tubular stainless jobbie that cracked and failed miserably! So until i can afford a bigger turbo setup, i decided to get a mate to port n gasflow my stock manifold see what you think, if you've ever looked down the middle of a stock manifold you'll realise just how shite they are espically runner 3! how does this look you guys, im rocking a stock manifold atm, but its amazing how much slower it is espically on top end! Does the porting look good enough to run 1bar safetly if i looks good enuff, im just gonna get the flanges skimmed dead flast and paint it and then put it on my car Cheers Matt.

ino, terrible isn't it. spoke to dave at TMD this morning and im shipping it back today and should be with him tormorrow and he's going to refund me on the plus hand my mate is porting and gasflowing a spare stock manifold... which im gonna paint up and then fit... You can feel the lag now at top of the rev band with the stock manifold... grr! hate going backwards in the performance

here's what came off: we had a good look at the turbo and its oil lines. no damage cus i have a blitz decat which braced the whole lot... thank god! Avoid these toyosport & autobahn manifolds like the plague people! Now rocking a stock manifold for now until i can get it sorted again! sigh! lol Love me glanza now, it sounds fucking awesome again!

thansk for the kind words people! well its back on the stock manifold now which is a shame i hate the rusty look! least it sounds like a glanza again and not like a tractor! ill get a pic of the manifold that came off in 2 pieces later on its a fucking joke how shit it is :/ not going to boost it to 1bar anymore just gona drive steady and save a little bit for a turbo conversion... feeling a td05 atm. we'll see.... however i might buy myself a new manifold and hybrid ct9... depends on funds and how i feel bout the car lol! ill keep u all posted!

well! as some of you know my Toyosport Manifold (came from TM Developments, who said they've never had one crack) cracked after less then 2 weeks. and from then till now its been growing... however last night it failed big style! as you can see its failed in many places! between 2 and 3 round to flange down middle of 3 between 1 and 4 near the flange and the whole flange has cracked clean off the rest of the manifold... So please people avoid these manifolds in my exprience there shit :/ Now im faced with the problem!!!! Zisco is shut for summer and i dont want to be without my car for all the shows! I dont want to run the stock manifold.... So ive gone with a braced j performance one for now... i may end up going with a turbo conversion end of summer anyways :/ Luckily my turbo is braced by my blitz decat... or it cud hav damaged sumthing! Ill keep you all posted, just waiting on my new manifold to arrive now
