It's a C's shifter indeed, i've sold a few. They work slightly differently to the trd's, i prefer the c's ones yeah but they're both good.
-
wow that certainly is jgtc, didnt know he'd got that far with it, heard about it on there a while back but didnt know it was nearing completion. also why would rick get in there? who's the one with an s14? nub
-
no dont think they allow cams geo, mark had his well hidden dave would smash yours round there mate, if it was setup for the track properly, he really would get the best out of the car. i don't protest to be able to drive particularly well, but he really can make the most of whats given to him, it is very nice to see people like him get so much out of a car. -2 is a little aggressive, tbh there's no way you'l know until you get there. If you're trying to set good laps then ideally you want the correct offset wheels, just going with a certain set because they look good wont help you smash an

indeed, much harder than it sounds, the effort and money involved for such a small amount is often not worth it, it'll be interesting at least, to be honest they probably won't even respond. i've met em a few times by the way, so do know of them.
-
ye its all about smaller wheels geo. if i could get 14's on the datsun, i would. small and light wheels, less rolling radius and weight on the axles, makes SUCH a difference to acceleration, and handling.
-
hm does definately sound like either too much camber or wrong offset of wheels, because as i said, the only scrubbing i got was with the wrong offset wheels, but even then, they had VERY chunky tyres on. Maybe with a better choice of wheel offset and camber setup, it'd be far more managable round the bends (i.e no scraping). Chucking on loads of negative camber wont necessarily help, in fact it'd probably be a burden on the ring due to the intense difference in camber angles on the various parts of the circuit. From what i've heard, and from what i'm sure you can tell us, the camber and road a

in bed, dying of man flu. lush.

you wont get anywhere with them unfortunately, used parts isn't it, not really gonna go very far even if you could do it yourself. Good luck jimmy, let us know how you get on.

could you not raise it a bit at all mark? obv you're aware that being too low doesn't do anything for handling, you can get away with it being higher and it'll actually handle quicker, without scrubbing etc, or was it a case of incorrect wheel offsets etc? Pretty sure my old glanza was lower and didnt suffer from scrubbing even at full lean, only once with a set of wheels that weren't quite perfect in regards to the offset. 10mins of scrubbage couldnt have done much good to the tyres

there will be prizes also ^;

does it have a plug at the rear? might have just fallen out, if so then pop the surround off and plug it back in correctly, if not then it may have been removed or something like a poverty model?

the lad speaks sense. no pies, no tc.
-
List: 1. Rick 2. Noisyboy 3. ecksjay 4. tc-dave interestingly, if it was in the rain like this weekend, it'd be a tc-kart swimming championships. ^^;

you checked the chassis rails mate? might be worth chucking it on a jig, making sure it isn't twisted, no point spending money on it if its essentially completely borked.
-
indeed they will be illegal, however whether it'll be enforced is another thing. if he doesn't mind paying the fine if he gets stopped on it then it's up to him (hid's without headlight washers can be very dangerous as the light gets dispersed in all directions due to dirt refracting it, often blinding people). They do look much better, although the yellow jdm effect is also very cool

well imports are actually mapped for 100ron jap fuel, so ideally you need to be running to as close to that as possible, uk cars will be mapped for 95ron
-
if we join, can we pie you?
-
uh, it is 99ron, but not in the same way that V-power is. it has alot of additives and stuff in it to boost up the octane rating, basically normal fuel but with some shit in it to pump it up, whereas V-power is produced from the outset to be a better, cleaner fuel, with less crap and shit in it compared to the normal unleaded. i don't use v-power at all, i just use any super unleaded in my s14 as imo fuel is fuel, but the tesco stuff is cheaper for a reason, it is NOT on the same par as v-power, its a vastly different fuel. in addition, when i have tried tesco 99ron, the car did seem to fee

remove the fcd. fuel cut is there for a reason, if you dont have any fuel control, you dont need or want a fcd, as you'll only experience problems. if you've been twatting it off fuel cut lots then it wont have done it any good. it may well be wired incorrectly so best to remove and then see how she feels, it'll then bounce off fuel cut at 0.93bar (give or take, depending on boost gauge accuracy) and then you'll know it was just that (the fcd may be malfunctioning or some of the wires may have become damaged, such as poor wire splicing etc).

think you'll find that civic is running disgusting cams, hence the awesome tickover. You'd need some serious custom cam job to get the same type tickover on a starlet, thats some considerable duration
-
fucking rofl. blates, i'd pie josie. also, i'd pie you all. i'd pie another man for free, but i'd happily accept a million quids if someone was offering it ^;
-
listen to the man, his gt is awesome. AWESOME. hows she running mate? also, ye, 200bhp in a starlet will feel very nice, as they dont weigh much at all, thats where they excel really. lightening the car up by removing heavy bits and bobs (air conditioning etc) will improve performance, as will going for regular poops.
-
look much better in bigger sizes, as they get some awesome dish in like minimum 17's, 18's and upwards, in the smaller sizes they just look a bit...dull.... thats just prob because im used to decent dish these days, anything less than 9" wide just seems a bit gay wow, that sounded so homosexual. awesome.
