  1. exactly, and even then you'll struggle to actually notice the difference in the real world, it just keeps you occupied until you can afford something with considerably more grunt/potential doesn't it, no point going all out with injectors etc and trying to tune everything to suit when there wont be a great deal of difference. Its your money, but people on here have tried it before obviously, so may aswell learn from that.
  2. you will never notice a 'considerable' performance increase from tuning the n/a unfortunately. A slight increase perhaps, yes, but even those that have tried full standalone management on one (at great expensive) have struggled to eek much more out of the motor.
  3. mechanical gauges will have the hose going directly into the back of the gauge, electrical/electronic ones will have the vacuum hose going into a remote unit, then will be connected to the guage via a small connector block (i.e electrical wires), with no hose going to the gauge itself.
  4. motor cross helmet? ;] also, you muppet. in the eye? thats awesome. also, ye pies isn't it. I'm actually having to go to the gym a hell of a lot this week as my xbox died (rrod), which left me absolutely devestated. have so much to do that i often end up getting overwhelmed and not actually doing anything, if that makes sense, i'd rather just chill and let shit build up than sort it out now. nothing like a bit of pressure to make you get your ass in gear
  5. not that you needed to guess, but porn, and lots of it.
  6. Wallace, technically SSR and Speed Star are different companies, well, different divisions anyway, as the modern SSR brand is not technically linked to the Speed Star Racing wheels of old, it may well have the same parent company but they are different divisions, just something that should be noted. Also, the 'Tom's' wheels are actually 'T's', which isn't Tom's, it's a separate company. Kind of like how 'M's' isn't 'Mine's', but in fact a different company
  7. i hope to god wepr have improved the quality of their stuff, i would expect so these days, as it used to be awful.
  8. there are many shock options, although you might want to look a bit further afield (i.e japland).
  9. haha, not much original stuff left on that, basically a tubular chassis now lols. immense work gone into that.
  10. 255bhp standard. my mate recently sold his, well, swapped it for a supra, the celica was 325bhp (dyno'd), basically stock, few custom bits which helped alot.
  11. you cheap cunts. also, i had a cadbury's hot chocolate in work today (one of the 'just add hot water' ones, in a little old school purple packet, the type of packaging and font they havent used for many years), it was dated Feb 2000. ^^; tasted fine.
  12. who's stacey? i want to pie that little blonde bit. wubs.
  13. lets meet up fur pies ye? also, joey, i wubs you so hard. cuddles ye.
  14. christmas present? i can't remember the last time i 'asked' for one, bit old now, just get what i'm given, although i'm usually the one that has to buy them now, at least, i just give the misses my card and let her sort it all out and write my name on everything
  15. we thought we'd get around 10-15 people at least, but we dont, because you are all pussies. Tbh we'd still go just if joey went, we'll pay for her ye ^^;
  16. uncoated mild steel? what do you expect? he offered a protective coating from new for a reason, that thing looks disgusting. Also, he stopped making them much longer ago than 4 months, so i assume you bought it used? Believe he stopped producing them about a year or so ago.
  17. keighley are wrc? well thats nothing new.... Quality cars, wont find better ^^; phil, i thought you'd know better
  18. yeah keighley a great place to buy a car from ;]
  19. first question is why is it hitting fuel cut. sloppy actuator? crud wastegate? both normal features with the stock ct9's. if you were to fit an emanage and have it mapped, you may experience unwanted creep above and beyond what the unit is mapped for, which would be pointless and is what fuel cut is there for (i.e to protect the engine, even if it isn't very nice to experience). you may find a decent electronic boost controller might cure the creep problem, but it differs from car to car.
  20. Im sure you're aware you cant 'remap' them, however you will prob be aware of what management you can purchase to sort out your fuel cut issue (however the underlying issue of the ct9's crap wastegate/actuator will still be there, so might want to look into resolving that also). does look alot like al's as someone said
  21. yeah you might find that the uk distributer is nothing more than a reseller, and wont entertain refurbs, as they are a jdm brand (well, big in USA but mainly jap). If you found out what dampers they are (KYB, AST, McPherson etc) then you may find you can get them refurbed anywhere, bike shock refurb place perhaps. also, shame about the mani, seems jdm manifolds do that for fun however, get some slag repair done on it
  22. looks like it does run quite lean at low revs actually, bit peculiar.
