you hit the limiter in every gear? good work, nice and safe i see
-
yeah we did stumble across it, i have a pic from a slightly different angle...

as above, they're inherently flawed, there's no changing that. Clio's are renowned animals in the twisties, even as stock (the 172's anyways), if you were to work on them then, well, they'd devistate even the best handling cars out there. I'd put money on them worrying a few integra type-r's around the twisties, and the tegs use supposedly the best handling FWD chassis ever designed

nice, saw this floating around about 2 years ago, i remember it on ebay. also, if you need any help with the turbo, i can get those HKS 2530's for very cheap (prob cheaper than a refurb would've cost you). Good luck with it bud.
-
i doubt it'll last long, they aren't classics or particularly sought after, so its not likely they'll double in price or anything
-
stay very well clear, it looks like a dog in the pics, so up close, i expect its shaped like a banana.

i've spoken to guys who rally in amateur form, and the last time i checked, it was bucks. tens of thousands of pounds a year, even for basic stuff.

it randomly appeared on the auctions, i've never seen another, neither has rick, and we've been studying the auctions hard for many years. you wont find another one, thats for certain

f*** off mikey, you've never bought an actual modification in your life, dont give yourself a heart attack by starting now -
you wont really notice a difference, no, it'll allow you to run more boost though without strangling the turbo. after fitting my blitz decat, the car felt the same, after upping the boost it felt alot less restricted though, didnt scream as much for the same power figures. it wont completely change the car though

We'll have another 10 items or so landing in the next week ('ish), so keep checking the section guys

it makes me feel sick.

whats the difference between a glanza s and a glanza v
ecksjay replied to hill_bill10's topic in Lifestyle General
it still nose dives like a pig, mind you 'better' is a term that should be use loosely ;) -
induction kit will this empty my petrol tank quiker ? ?
ecksjay replied to iamlegend's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
no, it wont, its the fact you're using alot more throttle to make induction noise that'll drink more fuel, its a big mind fuck -

ofcourse, but the name on the front of your car? please, if you have the chance, be creative, GET SOME OBSCENITIES UP THERE. there wont be a difference in performance until you crank it up, but thats not what i've said, not in the slightest, you gimp -

for the money you cant go wrong, but personally i wouldnt advertised what it is, not exactly a well known brand, plus it leaves it that little bit more subtle and understated doesn't it i should spray something awesome on mine, like 'Vagina' or something. in fact, where did i put my masking tape.... -

i wouldnt have sprayed the fmic personally, they aren't renowned for their build quality.... ;) wouldnt wanna advertise it for what it is. also that roof scoop is shocking. other than that, tidy little car, interesting place to do the fitting too, in the middle of the street. good work -
did you? is that why its all insured now then and why it was insured when you picked it up? you know, so you could drive it home legally...
-
as stock, they're pap really. come alive when modded though if its old and shabby, i'd stay well clear, they aint cheap when they go wrong, there's lots about cheap but i'd definately recommend spending extra money and getting a good un, dont skimp on something that was alot of money when new. s13's are very cheap as are parts, plenty of rusted ones about so that'd be the way i'd do it if i was looking for a cheap un.

ngk make plenty of plugs mate, as do loads of people, but if you're only running stock power then just replace the plugs like for like (if yours are a bit perished), otherwise it'll be fine bud.
-
people who buy cars without getting insurance quotes are highly amusing
-
um, no, sorry mate but thats absolute bullshit ET45 is too high for a starlet, it means it'll sit INSIDE the arch, they'll look far too thin for the car as they'll be swamped in the arches. The lower the offset, the further out from the hub they sit, what p2d's just said is completely incorrect hahaha. Lesta, ET45 is too crappy for a starlet, your perfect offset is ET37, or around ET35, don't go any higher than ET37 as it'll look like a wheely bin. Nice bit of wrong info from p2d there, good work buddy
