  1. it doesn't matter, the police wouldnt pull you over for incorrect logbook information, and even if they did, providing its insured as a 1.3 turbo'd starlet, you have no problems at all to worry about. if its registered as a starlet 1.3, then just insure it correctly (as a turbo, like i said) and it'll be fine. i've worked along VOSA who carried out the roadside safety checks, so i know how they work. just make sure everythings insured correctly.
  2. its the wrong way round, for a start, as people have said. and they all come with the plastic starlet bits, if they're missing then they've just fallen off, its only held on by one screw.
  3. it doesn't have a rail, the OEM seats and rails are one piece. the only way to get them separated, is with a decent angle grinder. toyota don't stock them afaik, recaro can supply them new, although they're £155+vat +delivery. If you want one then pm me and i'll go through the procedings of making sure we can find you the right rail for your seat. Regards Harrison
  4. its fluttering before it dumps? that isnt right mate, it should do one or the other tbh
  5. thats had many, many thousands upon thousands of pounds spent on it boys, a normal standard one has nothing on that thing. most would cringe if they knew whats been spent on it. mine is like a bloody slug in comparison, its depressing
  6. perhaps, it all depends on the spring rates and how they react with the rebound of the shocks. you wouldnt know until you try, but either way, they'd be mismatched.
  7. i haven't written the stuff on sxoc, thats the owner who wrote all of that. also i did say it was 'daves', the owners, not mine. we simply supplied the parts for it jesus, didn't think it'd take that much explaining, especially when i've said it twice already. no cider for you young man. you naughty boy.
  8. its not MY sxoc thing, its the owners, and hence why i said, 12's would be nice, high 11's would be fantastic. 10's were his aim a year ago, before all the problems. if you read what i put, he's sold all the drag orientated mods, such as his mickey-T drag slicks, sequential etc, so it won't do those speeds, and if it did grip with the slicks, it'd snap something, which would be less than ideal. hence, 12's would be nice, high 11's would be lovely, in its current guise. it has the power for it, the only limiting factor is the grip (hence, having the mickey-t's ). tut, read robert
  9. he's sold the drag tyres, wheels and sequential, so all the nice stuff for drag aren't on it anymore unfortunately, although if they were (and they worked as it should), then it'd prob snap something like the prop shaft anyway with the amount of torque thats there. Still, we're be happy with 12's, or high 11's S14's don't make the best drag cars in the world, as i'm sure you're aware, they're more....dori dori. it comes naturally if you see either dave, myself or rick (me and rick will be pissed up somewhere drinking dirty west country cider when dave drag races) then come over for a chat.
  10. they're not updated, i should have taken some today in the sun but i completely forgot, i had plenty of chances. silly me. still, here are some old specs and details, the spec has changed since but its relatively close. http://www.sxoc.com/site/rides/ride.php?Member_ID=5756
  11. rob, thats pretty pointless tbh, the tanabe shocks are matched with his tanabe springs, if you're changing the springs for £130, you may aswell sell the whole lot for like 200, and spend a little bit extra on coilovers. thats what i'd do personally. dont ruin the shocks by putting lower springs on. like i said, i had lower springs on my tanabe dampers, and the rebound was not designed to suit springs that low, it ruins them. they broke my spine, many times.
  12. Today the S14 200SX had its first legal run, on the way to be MOT'd. Its been in the making for over a year now, many trouble and trifes, blood sweat and alot of tears have been shed over this f*cking car, by both myself and its owner, Dave (TC Member). The car was built by Dave himself, in his garage, the only thing that wasn't done by him was the mapping, which was carried out by H-Dev, on the STOCK ecu The majority of the parts were TC Trading supplied, or purchased new, so its very much a home built vehicle. It may be up for sale soon, mainly due to a house move, but, its all done, ma
  13. um. you fucking dick. although, i'm not surprised. also, you wont notice anything without tyres on, they'll prob just look like they're jutting out quite happily. get tyres on, and then, well, it'll be shit.
  14. +7? jesus. i assume you've test fitted them with tyres? you're gonna need some serious arch work AFAIK, depending on what tyres go on there O_O
  15. ct9 is a response turbo, hence why it does at anything above about 80-100mph, hybrids are designed with larger compressor blades to eliminate this tail-off, hence why they're intended use 'should' be for higher boost applications. if you're not planning on upping the boost, even if the hybrid will make a difference, for the money, you could spend it better elsewhere. if you're going to up the boost, then yes, go for it, as it'll be worth the money with the additional performance all across the rev range that it will provide. also geo, its been proven that porting the wastegate doesn't ALWAYS
  16. ep82 to ep91, yes, but i dont know about ep71. common sense would say the floorpan is different, so only way to know would be to try it, it only takes 5 mins to test em.
  17. thats a vile seat mate. i could get you a NICE seat, then have it retrimmed, in metallic spangly pink leather, or PVC. the germans make everything. yes, its BRIGHT luminous pink.
  18. you fail, you could have joined in the spooning. uksc = fail.
  19. hks filter, oh dear, i'd be surprised if it aint sucked loads of crap in there already. also, im not sure what the problem is, your turbo has sucked something in?
  20. i demand higher res pics of that bottom. im going to pie her.
  21. yes thats the advised starting bid. steam is normal, they've normally been sat up for months, cars produce steam, its how an internal combustion engine works
