The toads we are recommending were designed well before 2004, so they are certainly NOT the same kit. mwahahahaha ;)
-
they're over complicated, so most average auto electricians can't make head or tails out of what to do with them. hence they're usually alot more hassle than they're worth (and thats why they cost so much more than other capable systems, sometimes upto double).

Mate, think who you're talking to, thats already part of my daily routine. Come here, i need to pie you.

cliffords are fucking god awful. i wouldn't recommend one to someone i hated, let alone a fellow forum user. overly complicated, unreliable and over-expensive piles of crap.
-
damn right, especially considering they look like shit. i'm going to take a carving knife from the kitchen to my bonnet in a moment. be like, blates varis ^;

harrislum? i am not amused. Harrisemen would have been more appropriate. Phil = fail.

ep71 turbo kit? to fit what, the 1E? 2E? Yours looks very much like an EP70 mate, not an EP71, which would mean its a 1E yes? Why would you want to turbo that? for £800 quid you could have a 4E-FTE in there up and running, with change to spare.

i'd be alright with launches, i've found a good solution for grip. massive wheels and tyres. it helps. also, 0-60 is a pretty pointless test, and rather tedious. If you're talking drag, then now we're getting somewhere interesting, as actual drag events are far more exhilarating. Although, if we're talking airfield days, then why not just go along with motorsports events days, they're cheap, well organised, very professional and are renowned for being quality events. might not be ideal for some of you northern guys but if there's enough interest then i'd happily organise something down thi

will they fit? anything can be 'made' to fit. will it be easy to mod them? no, it won't. not unless you're bloody handy with a welder.

online is supposed to be awesome, more so on the xbox360 version (microsoft paid $50,000,000 to Rockstar for exclusive downloadable content). Plus the PS3 version is just a direct port of the xbox360 version as the ps3 is still a prick to develop for, so they will be literally the same games on either console, except for the downloadable content. online is not co-operative apparently, but includes many deathmatch style scenarios, and stuff like cops and robbers etc. no co-op to the main game but everything else. i'm gonna try to pick one up on the way home too geo, hopefully they'll be some

cheap shit nasty seats mate, horrible things. and no, they wont fit in. any seat you get will need a subframe, those are generic so will need custom ones made up.

it may well have a daughterboard in there, or at least someones fucked around with it. they may have fitted an FCD but mounted it internal to the ecu, there's no way to know without whipping it out and opening it up. If that is the case, then there's no way to know that its actually fuelling correctly to accomodate the rise in boost without getting the car on a dyno and having everything checked, which is personally what i would do. £40 and you'll know exactly whats going on. either that or you could get a stock ecu for cheap to put your mind at rest.

same bonnet isn't it mate.

its revolting. hai look i just found your bonnetz ^;

Help im new and cant get insured for my glanza
ecksjay replied to MadMan's topic in Welcome New Owners!
consider this. if you've just hit a child who's ran out behind a parked car, into your bumper, bounced off the road and snapped their neck. The insurance claim of something of that magnitude would be massive, the child's parents would probably sue you for dangerous driving even if you were going only 10mph. either way, there's gonna be millions of quid involved. If you were the insurance company issueing that policy, would you not expect them to do some thorough research into their client in an attempt to find out all the details? Trust me, if there's any sort of money involved (from a few -
whip the glovebox down and look behind (up and over) it, to look at the ecu, see if it has any marking on it. it may have an aftermarket ecu.

v power is crap? yeah, very useful. its better than any other fuel for the same money, so its certainly not crap. i use esso supreme myself, mainly because there's an esso garage only 20seconds away. i get approx 200miles out of £50 from a 250bhp'ish (could be more, thats very conservative) S14A 200SX, so count yourself lucky.

BBS Alloys On An N/A (pictures inside, 56k beware)
ecksjay replied to ste91's topic in Alignment & Alloys
i wouldnt pay 150quid for the first set mate, they're nasty and can be had from any old golf. the second set are rarer and usually go for at least 300quid, hence being a bit pricey.
