mate tc stickers are taking over the world. there's one on my s14, which is now in southampton, one on daves old supra, which is with some....foreign bloke in london, one on his celica gt-four which is around here somewhere, within about 100miles or so, then there's the tc-v and the new ones we're having made up for the vtak lot (i.e us bristol cider pricks).

That says he might 'get' some cheap thrills with shocks and springs? am i missing something? also, mate, shocks and springs and a rear arb will do the job, even if you do ever go near a track. ricks glanza has KYB SR Shocks and springs, and a rear arb, and that did the job

jag you sexy beast get some decent cheap shocks and springs if you're not going on track or anything, coilovers are overkill for the road. My glanza was very low (without scraping on anything) and was on tanabe shocks and springs, and they were fine, if a little stiff. softer springs would have been better - should be able to pick up a decent kit for less than 200quid.

it is a hell of a lot mate to be honest, my friends was running a dyno'd 386bhp (so not particularly modded, basically BPU-spec), with a 5zigen exhaust and decat, fidanza flywheel and rps max street clutch, bilstein's and a few other goodies. that was pretty much it. it needed a new paint job, but for 6k it would have been perfect (750-1000quid worth of paint job, and it'd have been a very mint cheap supe, as it was mechanically perfect, just had been rattle canned at some point). all of them will have central locking, if it has an alarm with a fob then it MAY have been connected upto the central locking to give you remote central locking, but there's no guarantee, say if it's just a cat2 immobiliser. it's easy to supply and fit the remote kit for whatever security it does have though. some glanza's came with a wierd fob thing to control the central locking, but you may aswell get it combined into your normal alarm/immob that you'll have fitted.

hybrids are still ct9 size mate, they're very high pitched and just not nice, compared to nice big turbos like TD06's etc. speaking of which, the only screamer i liked the sound of (on a starlet) was ricks, being a TD06, that sounded meaty. Ct9's (or hybrid variants) just sound too high pitched, lots of noise for not much go. i've been around/seen many, haven't actually been in the car though no, other than ricks ofcourse (starlets with screamers that is). The best sounding screamer i've been involved with was on the tc-s14, HKS GT3037S with full hks mani and screamer, that thing was absolute
