Oh i forgot to mention, i'll be there friday afternoon/evening, so about 5-6pm probs if all goes well. idrees i reckon you might have a really shit map there to be honest, it dont sound too healthy if its doing that sort of fuel economy. even if it's a td04, off boost it's only a 1.3, and the injectors aint exactly monstrous even if they're upgraded. it may be your driving style, as i know of many people who struggle to get good fuel economy, whereas when i have the car for a few days i can quite easily beat manufacturer's economy figures on my work commute. and yes, i work about 20miles from home, so can get silly mpg in anything, however my starlet would easily do 300miles to £30, li

if they're all smoking, you sure it aint the engine? valve stem seals etc? if the turbos burning oil it'll be blue smoke, if it's white smoke then it's not necessarily the turbo, as starlets usually puff white when the valve stem seals are fecked. to be honest, mine used to smoke white occasionally after i fitted the decat, which was pretty normal. never got any worse so i didnt worry, and i've seen many starlets do the same. if the turbo is ruined then it'll usually be pissing out blue smoke and burning oil, white smoke doesn't mean burning oil.
