my car was ordered by a guy in 1997 out in australia when he lived there, (bcoz australia is really hot it came as a standard starlet with no pas with air con ) soon after getting the car he decided to migrate to the uk, and liked the car so muxh that he had it shipped over, he then owned it for two years here then part exchanged it for another car at a garage, then that was where my baby sat for 11 months... until i bought it for £2200, with 31,000 on the clock... now its just clocked 100,000 miles 3 years later. theyre glanza rears mate...http://www.qldserver.net/~uksta/forums/index.php?showtopic=5 <-- part numbers! cheers mate, its a tg backbox... some jap or chinese make... no one else has ever heard of them!! it sounds quite nice though. mainly bought it for the looks though, altho it was originally slash cut, but i modified it to straight cut. good effort mate! cheers guys, one thing i found was that the starlet lacks sound at the front, so i fiddled an idea of putting a 6x9 in the glovebox, the speaker frame needed some minor cutting, but the only way you get it to sound nice is to cut the back of it out and sound dead'n the whole box, but now it adds much needed volume to the front, plus you can crank it up nice an loud an not get bad distortion, plus you get some bass up front. and it hides out of theving scum view when parked up. my next plan will be to get a 6 or possibly 8inch sub to sit in there nicely. fibreglassed in of course. my point exactly. the seo has white dials too, so its even more interesting. the only difference is that the seo speedo only goes up to 110 whereas the starlet goes to 120. Rich.

yup, its off the suv version so i am told. that glanza bonnet has been extended to fit around the sr headlights, as the glanza ones are alot larger. Rich.

well opinions differ, but when we went to bruntingthorpe i got a 0-60 time of about 11seconds, but i have timed mine before at 10.5. top speed by toyota is at 103, but ive had mine up to 119 and often do about 112-113. cheers bud! cheers mate, they read volts and oil pressure. Rich.
