  9. nah cool bud i got ya! it was just a long day yesterday!!! pm received Rich.
  10. thanks shelly!! it is great news!! the main difference... it runs smoothly, and doesnt sound like a bag of nails!!! it pulls alot smoother now too. but im gonna give it a 500 mile run in, so i'll let you no on performance after that! Rich.
  11. nah mate its black. i did this black bonnet way before the carbon bonnet craze, it was a euro thing at the time. Rich.
  12. a good tip after wards to get it really glossy is to use some rubbing compound, you can get it from halfords, use a little bit on a damp cloth and rub it in hard onto the dry paint (the paint must have totally hardened for this to work though)... the result with a bit of patience you'll have bodywork glossy paint. Rich.
  13. i run many different set ups. i currently have a infinity 1200w max 12inch in my boot, fantastic speaker, too loud for my kind of music though, i also run a single 600w max mtx ten from time to time, or twin mtx tens (sounds minted, but again too loud for my type of music. i occasionally run a single 8inch 400w max sub from time to time, which is just right but goes quiet on some of my favorite songs. at one time i did run a mamoth twin 10 inch and single 12 in one box setup, which was just insane, if you cranked it up the body panels used to bulge, the rear veiw mirror used to turn on its
  14. ok for ages everyone has heard me bitching about how bad my engine is, so when that 12,500 mile engine came up on ebay, i jumped at the chance. now my baby lives on with a freshly installed 4efe that has done 12,700 miles!!! its running sweet as a nut!! altho it has just taken me from 8 this morning till 9 tonight to change them over!! o well... that'll be the second time ive changed engine now!!! and i said id never do it again!! Rich.
  15. love the colour... i want my starly that colour!! Rich.
  16. cooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrect!!!! Rich.
  17. yeah, i guess. something like that. my one in the picture is a custom made one smoothed in, the copys would be either smoothed in, screwed on, foam taped on, stuck on... the list goes on really. well they wont be for a while yet, but i'll keep you guys posted. Rich.
  18. yep... i remember it well shelly!! Rich.
  19. in my opinion 2 10's is a good choice. they'll give good, punchy bass. compared to a 12 that will do alot of droning. in my opinion, go for mtx 10's if youre doing your own enclosure. to be honest, one of these mtx subs is enough in a little starlet. Rich.
  20. my tip... dont use vinyl paint. its shit. do what no1fan has done and buy a normal colour. if you do a good job of prepping it'll be fine. Rich.
  21. ok, my bid for making copys of my bumper didnt go down too well, so i was wondering if you n/a starlet boys would be interested if i made a few copys of the splitter attached to my bumper? it would be tried and tested for fit before i send any out... and would just attach to the bottom of your existing bumper. i would have to make a mould first but i would imaging they would be around £80 depending on how long it takes to make one, and how much fibreglass it would take. i would probably make two versions available, one the same as the pic above, and one without the little winglets
