no idea bud, i just replaced the whole engine as it was becoming a bit tired. one way to tell if theyve gone will be to have a look at the colour of the exhaust gasses when you first start it, if there's a slight blue tinge to the exhaust gas when you first start it after leaving it overnight then it could be the valve seals, if it is them the blue tinge should clear after 20-30 seconds. i was told by my dad that i might as well just live with it, as it would be costly to replace them. have a look at the oil pressure sender also, its the only sender at the front of the block to the right (and a bit below) of the exhaust manifold, i had a oil problem also and it turned out that this sender had worked its way loose as its on a tapered thread.. im not sure i follow bud. can you explain in some more detail? what kit are you using? what has already been wired up? and what does the wiring diagram say? ive fitted 3 alarm systems and they've all had totally different wiring to make the hazards flash... it'll be helpful to know what your instructions say. holy shit dude. glad your ok! i know what you mean. my g/f knows a girl whos brother is constantly on coke, and drives everywhere as fast as possable, she needed a lift somewhere once and this guy ended up giving her a lift, she arrived at back shaking and afraid for her life, it turns out that he was going down the local lanes (which i dont dare go any faster than 60 down) at 90-100mph. i was fuming... if people are gonna drive like twats, do it on your own, down a empty road and if you kill yourself you its your tough shit. at least you dont endanger other people in the process. he now thinks its funny to play chicken with me down the same lanes and caused me to go right up on the verge the other day almost ripping my bumper off... it turns out that he was pissed and high on coke at the same time on that day. it makes me sick. just glad you an your mrs are ok mate.
