thanks mate. it doesnt chatter very loud, but you can hear it well in the car. they will chatter thru the airbox, just not as loudly as with a open filter.

i had actually run out of black and gold... and i had some midnight purple, modena green and white kicking around, so i guessed that the purple would look a bit less 'in yer face' like.

i personally think its probably gonna be your wheels... just because you've had them rebalanced doesnt mean theyre not bent out of shape, afterall, the first thing thats gonna take a beating on rough roads are the tires/wheels. if you've got some spare steelies sitting around try them on it, at least it'll rule out that.

standard recirc bov update bit of a small update, nothing amazing, but i was pretty chuffed with it when i was finished. i had noticed from the last time i had a bov on the car that it was holding boost alot better than with the recirc, so i decided to adapt a stock recirc to hold boost better... this is how i got on. one bov separated this is how i got it to beef up (i put smaller reverse coil spring inside the old one, this is it beside the stock) back together, but the resin i used probably needed a bit of help so i the drilled two holes either side and put two bolts thru either side. then finished it off with some midnight purple paint and a trd transfer as i said nothing amazing, but has made a noticeable difference... it holds boost much better at all revs, and at low speed it begins to chatter before it recirculates back into the system... which is nice. but even better its a mod which suited my empty wallet!

indeed, thats who im with... but in saying that, my insurance only went down about 10-15 quid over last year... so maybe there is truth?

try a few sheets of tracing paper under it mate.

it is by far and away the best bumper for the ep91 n/a... like ever. i searched for years to find the part number for that bumper!

it'll be the gutted cat causing some of it mate... mine was the same, it really makes a difference sound wise with a proper decat, but even so, mine still sounds a bit tractory at low revs...
