  1. YOU SNEAKY SALMON! you best come and see me soon chap. if ya wanna sell the wheels gimme a shout, i'll take em off ya hands.
  2. the baffles in an exhaust are there to quieten the exhaust noise, i cant see just knocking the baffles out of a exhaust system would make and performance advantage. as long as its a reasonably free flowing exhaust system the baffling should be fine.
  3. your gonna have to be a bit more specific mate!
  4. dave, do you know if theyre adjustable at all?
  5. you cant bump start starlets period. i found this out in a simular way to you mate! glad everythings sorted tho!
  6. mines ok, but i think it under-reads slightly. are they adjustable?
  7. idrees, i would take down the photo with you behind the wheel. its not just starlet owners that view this forum you know.
  8. cheers joz. it depends what car it was taken off. i bought a 4efe jdm ecu that i believe was taken off a glanza s, which came with distributorless ignition, which didnt work. if it has come from a jdm starlet with the same ignition system as the uk spec 4efe it should work, but you will need to find out what size injectors the car it was in used, the glanza s had yellow injectors apposed to the uk spec green ones. the rev limit should be 7200rpm on the jdm ecu. the only other problem you may have is if your car has an immobilizer (which mine didnt) as jap spec cars generally dont have them.
  9. try rarerims.co.uk for rota wheels, people give them alot of flack but i think they seem pretty good.
  10. i dont know why this thread has continued like this, i think we can do without this "my car is better than yours" crap. we all like to hear how our cars do up against the 'opposition' but i think this thread has gone from a simple comparison into something a bit out of control. i personally dont like french cars, i dont know why, but i never have. but i respect the fact that they are quick, cheap and can out handle cars costing twice as much out of the showroom. i have had a very good experience with my toyotas and thats why i still own one.
  11. i was gonna sort one out over my way around the same sort of time, but i might be interesed in this one instead.
  12. this still seems to be a bit of a grey area buddy, mine needed a cat to pass mot, as it had been registered as needing a cat according to dvla. i'd like to know if this loophole still exists too.
  13. actually a really good little package... subtle (doesnt deafen you) but purposeful. really impressed with it. would defo reccomend to anyone with stripped out rear who likes their music!
  14. it'll fit. i was gonna buy one when i had my n/a.
  15. just a quickie, fitted my birthday prezzy. its a alpine under seat active subwoofer, now all my speaker system is alpine.
  16. have you got some braided lines with those discs mate? otherwise i'd say you probably wont feel alot of difference, as i did this on my n/a and was pretty dissapointed. good updates tho.

  18. i personally prefer it without the rearlip! i had one taken off mine when i bought it! i notice you have the bronze wheels back on it for wither then buddy.
