  1. I swear someone had a squeaky rear beam a little while ago?
  2. That is awesome! It's crying out for wider fit wheels though!
  3. I do hope so! They did rub on the NA but like I said the front is set TOO low and arches aren't rolled Just for reference here's how it looked, gutted I couldn't run it (couldn't be bothered raising and getting tracking done again for the sake of a few months lol)
  4. Thinking a maximum of 5mm lower on the front and maybe 10mm at the back? When I fitted the wheels on the NA it only rubbed on the front because I set the Meisters too low, the extra stiffness helped a lot on the back.
  5. Here's some pics of how it stands at the moment, think you can just about see how much they stick out up front I think its just one spot not so much constantly, it will be going slightly lower but like I said stiffness, camber, arch roll and lower profile tyres may just about do it?
  6. I have seen your V, looks good on ET20 with 50 but I need a lot more clearance for my wheels. I think my GT4 brakes might be giving them an effective offset lower than ET13 as the wheels seem to stick out more than they did on Josh and Lew777's GTs The rears aren't so bad but the fronts are a bit silly
  7. Thanks for that! Looks like a few mm might help! Yeah I know it won't change the width or anything but hoping a few extra mm of space is all I need, as currently the 50s are quite fat! I was thinking of running stretch, I'm confident 185/45 would just about clear but I wanna use the car on track so less grip isn't great
  8. Well it really only rubs over bumps and dips in the road, I'd have thought with a lower profile, camber, rolled arch lips and stiffer suspension it might just give me enough room?
  9. Hey guys I'm trying to figure out how to get my wheels to fit the GT without scrubbing like crazy. Currently they're 15x7 ET13 with 195/50 Paradas, and stick out past the outer arch trim about 0.5" and past the inner arch by 1.5"! The car is on springs ATM but will have Meisters & panhard fitted, -1.2 camber dialled in and the arches rolled, but I don't think this will be enough to prevent scrubbing. I wanna see if switching to 45 profiles will save me from buying new wide arches. So with that being said, can anyone using 195/45 Paradas or Uniroyal Rainsport 2s please post pics in here of their wheels/tyres so I can see how much room 45s will give me in comparison? Thanks! Amjad
  10. Bit of a no brainer here but check your spark plug gaps, just widened mine from 0.9mm to 1.2mm and it has a bunch more torque now
  11. Few quick questions regarding the 5 spoke wheels: -Were you on coilies at the time? -Did you use 45 or 50 profile tyres? -Were those arches rolled? Trying to figure out what to do with mine, they have 195/50 Paradas, and I'll be running Meisters so it'll be lower but the wheels stick out almost as much as your Grid Drifts!
  12. Oh okay, I just went out and measured the space I need. The fronts are 0.5" past the outermost trim on the arch, but are 1.5" past the inner (rollable) lip! Might just be okay, but I'm still thinking they might need cutting?
  13. Nice list there Ryan! I'd back up what John's said, just make it handle! With engine performance a K&N panel filter, Corolla/FTE inlet, and maybe cat-back is where I'd leave it! For braking, GT/Glanza Carriers and discs are a sufficient upgrade for the 4efes
  14. Thanks Marc! I might need to get some to clear my wheels, I might be wrong but I think they stick out further than on Josh's GT because of my GT4 brakes
  15. mint car GLWS What are you moving on to?
  16. Need to get me some of those wings! Do they have a lip like the OEM arches? (As in the bit that people roll?)
  17. Tyres: Uniroyal Rainsport 2 Size: 195/50/15 Pressures Front/Rear: 35/34psi Handling Mods: (EP91 NA) Meisters, Whiteline 24mm FARB, Whiteline fixed RARB, Whiteline ALK, OEM front brace, Cusco Rear Brace I run slightly higher pressures to avg around 40mpg, but it still handles very very well. Dropping them to 33/32 the handling is amazing for what the car is, but I can see the benefit that would be achieved by running tyres with a slightly harder sidewall (I believe the Rainsports have a soft wall the way they look quite flat usually!)
  18. My 4 Depos have been faultless, could not recommend them enough!
